What is life like in Atlanta, the purported “Black Mecca” of America? It’s a city where the black majority continually stress-test the concept of “Black Lives Matter,” to the point where police have embarked on a social media campaign begging residents to stop shooting each other. [Atlanta cops beg residents to stop shooting each other in new campaign, New York Post, April 10, 2021]:

Maybe if they just ask nicely.

The Atlanta Police Department has taken to social media to beg residents: please stop shooting each other.

“We’re hoping that people will see the message and think twice before they resort to picking up a gun,” department spokeswoman Chata Spikes told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

“Anger + Guns Adds Up to Nothing Good,” reads a Facebook post that pictures the equation’s answer as a flower-bedecked coffin.

“You cannot put the bullet back in the chamber once it is discharged,” the post explains. “Many have learned this the hard way.”

Murders in Atlanta surged by about 60 percent in the first three months of 2021, according to the report — while the city has logged 167 reported shootings since Jan. 1, up more than 50 percent from the first three months of 2020.

Repeat after me: Black. Lives. Matter.

  1. I’m not in favor of them stopping, it’s full speed ahead mates. That measly number of 167 isn’t making a dent in crime prevention.

If there were actual, serious consequences for all the shootings and murders – say a death penalty that was actually carried out on a timely basis, it might have some effect. Probably not, but maybe. “Anger + guns adds up to nothing good” campaign ain’t gonna do the trick. I guarantee it.

Personally i would find a 2 hour commute fror today’s Whitopia to downtown Atlanta tiresome.Don’t get me wrong,if you have a great job,it’s worth a 2 hour drive to Whitopia to protect the family you never see.Better to learn to live on less income.

  5. No Problem! Just post billboards , signs…this is a surefire way to make blacks stop ,well, except it won’t because, being BLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK! Signs , like do not cross, instead do not shoot, instead of do not loiter, do not rape, ect, ect, ect.

  6. Anyone else see the humor in these 2 statements?

“We’re hoping that people will see the message and think twice before they resort to picking up a gun,”

But they aren’t telling them don’t pick up a gun and shoot someone, they’re saying just think about it before picking up a gun and shooting someone. With blacks the more they think and dwell about whatever diss or reason they initially had to shoot someone, will only fester and make them want to shoot the person more.

    “Think before you shoot”

Think about what? Shot placement, how many rounds in the mag, decent cover if there’s return fire, escape routes?

  7. HT says:

It’s not just Atlanta. Negro murder and violence is breaking records in a long list of cities. All it shows is what happens when you leave Negroes to their own devices. Taking the controls off them with desegregation was a huge mistake. But removing most police presence from blacks areas and allowing them to run wild is completely insane and we see the results.

  8. I wish them the best in this facebook campaign to save the black community from the twin genocides of white supremacy and gun violence. I suggest hosting a march or two (Memorial and Labor Days perhaps) to get that mojo workin’!

Throw in some roving BBQ, cop cars with spinning rims serving ice cream and even a weekend or two designated as “Nobody Kill Anybody” (Juneteenth and July 4th?) to look forward to this summer and I’m in!

Too black! Too strong! Too…. Ha, ha, ha!

  9. Oh the futility, this will NEVER work!

No mention of “stop da’ biolence”marches or more fundings for programs?? Throw some of that stuff in and surely the death count will be less than zero.

off topic..an asian..a ‘woman of color’ gets award….

Chloé Zhao’s “Nomadland” continued its tour of dominance through awards season Saturday night, when Zhao took top honors at the 73rd annual Directors Guild Association Awards.

She is the second woman to earn the honor and the first woman of color to do so. Kathryn Bigelow was the first for “The Hurt Locker.” And it all but solidifies her frontrunner status leading up to the Oscars on April 25.

Amazon Prime’s new horror series, Them, has met a storm of criticism for depicting extreme racialized violence — including the murder of a black baby — sparking accusations of “torture porn.”

Created by black producers Little Marvin and Lena Waithe, Them tells the fictional story of a black family moving into the all-white area of Compton, Los Angeles, in the 1950s.

The family is met with extreme racism from the whites in the neighborhood. But the episode in question took that racism to the worst degree possible, the Daily Mail reported.

Naturally he opens fire on the Detroit Fire truck and crew.
Seems like blacks and only blacks will shoot the gift horse in the face. Happened during Katrina and happening in Detroit today.

Stating the obvious has never taken the place of common sense and judgement.

Reminds me of the purchase I made of a Beretta M9A3. On the cardboard outside box is a printed target and the following sage advice:
“Make sure to take out product before using target.”

    Who would have known?

  22. Nico says:
    @Jizmo

Exactly. If it is distasteful to segregate the races by color at least segregate them by behavior. Blacks whose words and deeds suggest they are going to act like blacks should be sequestered off. Same with whiggers and white SJW apologists for bad [mostly black] behavior.

That’s the real problem. Well into the 20th century nonblack neighborhood patrols could without consequences repel them with arms when they tried to “march in.” Nowadays you can’t do anything but play scorched Earth.

  24. Ragno says:
    @loren

Chloé Zhao’s “Nomadland” continued its tour of dominance through awards season Saturday night, when Zhao took top honors at the 73rd annual Directors Guild Association Awards.

Looks like the vast majority of sentient peoples picked an excellent moment in to stop giving anything resembling a damn about the Academy Awards. When I was a kid, I was pretty up-to-date on current and former winners and losers – but since the turn of this benighted century? I’ve barely been aware of any of it. And I’ve got plenty of company.

Amazon Prime’s new horror series, Them, has met a storm of criticism for depicting extreme racialized violence

If by THEM, they mean the relentless swarm of human army ants, destroying everything in their path….. I would welcome that tv series. But of course, ‘depictions of racialized violence’ somehow never refers to the 98% of actual racial violence in our country, but instead portrays the wishful thinking of Jewish sadomasochists. The REAL victims of that racialized violence – the poor souls memorialized by Paul Kersey and Colin Flaherty, and a scant few others, such as the doomed doctor and family butchered by the black beast Adams last week – are stuffed bodily down the memory hole while the bodies are still warm.

I almost wish I’d had the foresight to maintain an index of news clippings of the worst of these atrocities, if only to help memorialize the dead, who did nothing to have earned their awful fates…..but neither I nor anyone else has done so. Such a task might well drive honest men to madness, understandably so when you consider that our blow-dried, overpaid, union-protected journalists and historians – who refuse to do so – would be only too happy to demonize anyone undertaking such a task. How, after all, are you supposed to ritually flagellate yourself for Emmett Till and St George if you fill your head with a lot of blubbering, boo-hooing nonsense about Wichita Massacres and Richmond Spree Murders and Knoxville Horrors?

Compton. When it was crime free and White. Then blacks moved in.And we know what happened from there. Coincidence that most of their illustrious criminal rappers came from there in the beginnings of that garbage music.black Crime equals inspirational rap lyrics of life in “da” hood. NWA,one of the most notorious hateful degenerate criminal cop hating rap groups to come out of Compton. Remember they made a movie of them glorifying them as heroes and saints. And they have the nerve to make a BS series about Whites hating on them , LMFAO! Whites had every right to hate because as every could see with their own two eyes Compton became the most notorious black criminal sheithole out there. They should have made it more up to date,as in right now. Mexicans have taken over and they have no problem going after blacks and attacking and killing them and driving out whole black families. Compton was over 85% black now it’s over 85% Hispanic. Funny how no one seems to notice this.

Its also not making a dent in the population explosion.

  28. luludog says:

The article almost sounds like anyone using a gun to settle disputes will regret it. From what I’ve seen, the shooters are not regretful, but the opposite – they are proud and walk tall in the hood. Then go home and sleep it off. That’s usually how the cops find them – sleeping. Trouble is, most cops don’t bother to go into the hood anymore. The pay’s not worth it.

  29. The local beasts are at it again- multiple shootings and deaths this year in East Knoxville down in da hood involving students from Austin East High School. This time they brought it onto school grounds.

Just to give a little more perspective on the area~ Remember the Knoxville Horror where Channon Christian and Christopher Newsom were kidnapped and tortured to death by five feral blacks in a house on Chipman Street in Knoxville? That’s 1.5 miles away from Austin East High School.

Imagine my horror when I discovered the school is over 80% black and has 11% white students. The rest are Hispanic or other. That’s the stuff of nightmares!

Before WW2, Compton has a significant Japanese population. After FDR’s Executive Order 9066, those properties were forfeited. I’m sure more than a few negroes benefitted.

While Compton is overwhelmingly mestizo, 7 of 8 of the elected officials are negroes. Where is all the media outrage about the elected official not looking like the people they represent?

LOL…true, but if it wasn’t guns, they’d be blaming Whitey for some other implement of murder, whether it’s a knife, a ball-peen hammer, a pitch-fork, a high-quality garden gnome, a machete, or even a Grand Marquis that gets plowed through a crowd or put through a store front.

  40. @HT

Don’t think anyone has officially removed police coverage from any of those areas.

However, the coverage that they are getting is absolutely reduced due to the cops completely rational reduction in commitment due to the effects of the culture war. They are in no way going to do anything that they don’t absolutely have to do, and even if they do, they are going to be putting as little risk into it as possible. No point risking your entire career and life into helping a community that will try to rip your life apart at any moment. And those communities are paying the price. They probably need to keep on paying until the lesson sinks in permanently.

Amen. That story not only red pilled me but that’s also when I began stockpiling guns and brass. That wasn’t a lone psychopath. That was a group of subhuman and what they did is unspeakable and for what? That’s just what they are as a species. I can not imagine what those two went through.
