Former President Barack Obama’s bitter other half is at it again. Just when you think the former first lady’s deep well of racial resentment has run dry, her headline-generating grievances gush forth anew. Gripe springs eternal.

This week, Michelle Obama told Oprah Winfrey’s bestie Gayle King on CBS News that “many of us still live in fear” after the conviction of former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin in the George Floyd case. By “us,” she apparently means black Americans. But Obama (estimated net worth with her husband: $70 million-$135 million) and King (yearly salary at CBS: $5.5 million) aren’t just any black Americans. Their twin self-delusions are a sight to behold.

“(Going) to the grocery store” strikes fear in her heart, Mrs. O bellyached. (Never mind the lifetime Secret Service protection and tax-subsidized travel costs she receives to the tune of up to $500,000 per year.)

Just “walking our dogs” chills the bone, King chimed in. (Never mind the private security detail she travels with, like so many celebrities in her strata do.)

And the icing on unwell Michelle’s complaint cake? This “driving while black” lament: “Allowing our children to get a license” is terrifying, the multimillionaire elitist sighed and decried, because “every time they get in a car by themselves, I worry about what assumption is being made by somebody who doesn’t know everything about them. The fact that they are good students and polite girls, but maybe they’re playing their music a little loud, maybe somebody sees the back of their head and makes an assumption. I, like so many parents of black kids … the innocent act of getting a license puts fear in our hearts.”

Oh, horse-hockey. I’ll bet my grocery bill nobody ever “makes an assumption” about the Obama daughters posing any criminal threat ever because of their hairstyles or loud car stereo systems. Nobody would even get close enough to them, for starters, what with their Secret Service agents tailing them from campus to the gym to the club.

But don’t take my word for how vigilant the armed security is for bubble-wrapped Malia and Sasha. Just two years ago, Mrs. Moany McMoaner herself was kvetching to King (who else?) about how omnipresent the girls’ bodyguards were. In a 2019 interview on CBS News, Michelle Obama described how she would have to call up the daughters’ friends’ parents and warn them:

“This is the call. It’s like: ‘Hello. OK. We’re going to need your Social Security number. We’re going to need your date of birth. There are going to be men coming to sweep your house. If you have guns and drugs, just tell them yes because they are going to find it anyway. … Oh, by the way, there is going to be a man with a gun sitting outside of your door all night. Let him come in and use the bathroom; it would just be nice.”

ORDER IT NOW

Woe is she. The trials and tribulations of presidential families are too much to bear. “Imagine trying to have your first kiss” around “a bunch of men” with guns and earpieces, Mrs. O carped to King. “I’m surprised my kids have any friends, you know?” she joked (sort of).

As usual, Michelle Obama’s timing is impeccable. Her latest anti-white, anti-cop rant comes as emasculated police departments yield to the antifa-Black Lives Matter mob, as law-abiding Americans (most of them white) are harassed and surveilled by the feds for simply attending the Jan. 6 Trump rally, and as urban black assailants continue to beat the crap out of elderly Asians from coast to coast. Unfortunately for these racially profiled targets of violence, there are no burly men with guns and earpieces to protect them from harm.

A message for Her Royal Highness: Try less attitude. More gratitude. Before you snivel about “systemic racism,” check your own Obama privilege. It overfloweth.

  1. Don’t ask Michelle Øb☭ma why she’s so angry, it just pisses her off…

  2. Stop these government (taxpayer) funded, security teams for ex/politicians and their families.

    Heavily armed. 24×7. It’s just ridiculous.

    If politicians are so concerned about their safety, they can use their own money to hire body guards. Better yet, they can stop pushing policies that piss-off the psychos.

  3. Mooch is a hate filled anti-white bigot bitch…..craven…..ugly…..vile…..disgusting.

  4. Frankly, while I can’t sympathize with Mom very much here, I do imagine that the daughters would be happier with a bit more privacy.

    LOL! Thanks, Michelle. Big Mike is ugly as sin and should have never tried to transition (“Becoming Michelle”) as it hasn’t brought her happiness.

    Joan Rivers states very matter of factly that Michelle is a tranny (and dies very, very oddly) – https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hpL1OLiCfDc

    Big Mike would see racism in the evening weather forecast.

  8. Meh, the Wookie is still kvetching over the setbacks during the Orange Days.

  9. Ms Malkin seems to have a problem with how Michelle Obama uses English, which is ironic given Ms. Malkin’s belief in “English first” instruction in schools. When Mrs Obama speaks of “children” she is referring all black children, including her own. Note in the sentence quoted by Malkin, Mrs Obama says, “like so many parents of black kids … the innocent act of getting a license puts fear in our hearts.” Mrs Obama is speaking for her community, not just herself. It is fascinating that Ms. Malkin would choose to personalize the conversation and attack Mrs Obama’s children. Ms. Malkin is simply avoiding the larger issue: police in America target black people. White people in America shy away from black neighborhoods. White small business owners don’t trust black shoppers. There is a deeper problem that Ms. Malkin simply elides by attacking Mrs Obama. Ms Malkin comes across as petty. Mrs Obama comes across as thoughtful. Win to Mrs Obama.

  10. Malkin nailed it. Michelle Obama, Oprah and and Gayle King, seen in the context of how the majority of people live in the world, are some of the most elite and privileged people on earth, with everything that implies!!. These people think way to much of themselves”?

    and the Huntingtons and Obamas of the world simply avoid the causal issue: black criminality (shoplifting, walking down the road forcing vehicles to avoid them aka “walking while black,” resisting arrest, and astounding levels of gun violence). IF the Huntingtons and Obamas of the world could face up to the issue, progress of some kind might begin to occur. Fat chance.

  17. Hillbob says:

    what a pathetic, moronic ape of a woman

  18. @Harry Huntington

    Yeah, I noticed that too. Ad hominem attack. Obama is talking about black people in general, and all the writer does is pick on how rich she is. Typical conservative argumentation. Just skipping over the obvious.

    Now, on the other hand, the wingers have a point about black criminality. There is a lot of it, and it is what causes a lot of this DWB type stuff.

    On the third hand. Imagine you are black and law-abiding. Church-going. Moral as all get out. And you keep getting pulled over and splayed out and frisked and arrested and suspected etc. You might well know and understand that the reason for your treatment is statistical black criminality. But that doesn’t make it any better for you.

    It is exactly like white people who go, “Yes, some white people have done bad things to black people in the US–But I didn’t do it. Get off my back. I didn’t do it.”

    The problem as usual is the Hasty Generalization fallacy. The cause of endless misery for everybody.

    @Harry Huntington

    You missed MMM’s entire point.

    In saying “LIKE so many… fear in OUR hearts”, she is INCLUDING herself. Which is entirely invalid.

    She has ZERO ability to speak about this on behalf of others because they are not really her community: she has zero reason for such fears. She has the best protection (our) money can buy. Thus her wailing is petty by any measure.

    If you want to claim “police target black people” then you need to deal with the fact that this isn’t about race per se:
    * FACT: Black police “target black people” more than they target white people.
    * FACT: High crime neighborhoods are disproportionately Black. That’s not the creation of anything other than those who live there.
    * FACT: High gun violence neighborhoods are disproportionately Black. Even in places with extreme gun control.

    The correlation is pretty simple: police go where there is more violence, to protect citizens.

  22. MrPete says:
    @obwandiyag

    You missed both MMM’s point, and misread Obama’s.

    Obama didn’t JUST talk about “black people in general.” She claimed that LIKE black people in general, SHE specifically has these fears. And such fears are entirely specious in her case.

    She and her family literally have better protection than anyone on earth. The best our money can buy.

    She and her family literally have better protection than anyone on earth. The best our money can buy.

    It was her hubby that made that possible, not Trump who several have mentioned as doing it…..

    Even with all the chattering from the left, Obama had around the same amount of threats than the last several Presidents….. Actually, Obama received less threats than Bush II……

  24. RSDB says:
    @Harry Huntington

    Does “the fact that they are good students and polite girls” apply to all black children indiscriminately as well?

    You are missing the point of the criticism, which is that the elite, like those quoted here, stoke racial issues (and falsely lump themselves in with the poor and otherwise ill-off whenever possible) in order to distract from real concerns.
