The ongoing political stalemate in Israel brings to mind an old recycled Jewish joke that reads as follows:

Q: How many synagogues are needed in a village with one Jew?

A: Two, one to go to and one to boycott!

Self identified Jews, and especially non-religious one, are hardly defined by what they are but mostly by that which they oppose. They are basically defined by means of negation: the list of ideas, thoughts, philosophies and people whom they reject, contest and boycott.

This unique state of being describes accurately the political paralysis in Israel. Roughly two-thirds of Knesset members are hard-core right wingers. They agree with PM Benjamin Netanyahu on pretty much every crucial political matter including the most radical chauvinist interpretations of Jewish nationalism. In a normal civilized democracy this would be enough to form the strongest possible government. But in Israel they are already preparing for their fifth consecutive election, as they have failed to form a stable government in the last three years.

Like in the old Jewish joke they boycott each other. Netanyahu’s past allies such as Avigdor Lieberman and Gideon Sa’ar, who are actually to the right of Netanyahu, are committed to one goal: stopping the most popular Israeli right-wing politician. They prefer to join Netanyahu’s bitterest enemies in the vanishing Israeli ‘left’ just to make sure that Netanyahu finally disappears from the political arena. They will use every political maneuver to topple the man who, more than anyone else, transformed Israel into a right-wing regional superpower. Not many can deny that it is Netanyahu who reduced some world decaying powers into Israel’s obedient remote colonies.

How are we supposed to interpret this animosity within Israeli politics? How is it possible that right-wingers are determined to destroy their political twins? The genius philosopher Otto Weininger observed in his book Sex and Character that what we hate in others is that which we despise in ourselves. According to Weininger, this is why the most dedicated homophobes are often latent gays themselves. Similarly, according to Weininger, the most devoted Jews-haters are themselves Jews.

It was Otto Weininger’s brilliant observation that helped me grasp that it was me whom I hate the most. It was Weininger who helped me realize that the most profound study of Jewish ID politics may be achieved by means of self-reflection. It was Weininger who explained why it is that the Jews who contributed to humanity the most (such as Jesus, Spinoza and Weininger himself) were often described by fellow Jews as ‘self-haters.’ It is more than likely that those who despise Netanyahu within the Israeli political realm actually hate in Netanyahu that which they despise in themselves. They are all deeply compromised; Netanyahu is just slightly more gifted in being compromised. He harnessed this gift into an astonishing political career.

Netanyahu, in the most peculiar way, has brought to light everything the state has tried to conceal and suppress. It is Netanyahu that transformed Israel into a ‘Jewish State,’ understanding already in the 1990s that it is actually ‘Jewishness’ that unites Israeli Jews, as opposed to an ‘Israeliness’ that means less and less as time goes by. It was this realization that created that most resilient bond between Netanyahu and the Israeli orthodox parties. But Netanyahu is an elastic political character; when he realized that a coalition of ‘the Jews’ is not enough to win him the election he successfully bonded with the Islamic Party (Ra’am).

In a very short time ahead of the last election, Netanyahu managed to break the Israeli-Arab’s rising political power, with Ra’am separating from the United Arab List. If Netanyahu manages to form a government at this stage, it is almost certain that he will do this with the support of the Islamic Party. Some Jewish nationalist parties on the far right of Bibi’s ‘potential’ coalition have declared that governing with the Islamist party is unimaginable. Yet the Jewish orthodox party Shas announced that the possibility of uniting with Ra’am isn’t at all a remote option. Again we see a repetition of the synagogue joke above. The Jewish Orthodox prefer to sit with pious Muslims rather than with Jewish LGBTQ enthusiasts of the pseudo-Left type.

The Israeli Left is obviously made of the exact same material as their orthodox twins. The so-called ‘Left’ party Meretz already signaled that it is willing to sit in a coalition with the ultra-right Sa’ar and Bennett just to make sure that Netanyahu is ousted. They will join one Synagogue just to boycott the other.

One may wonder at this stage whether this absurd theater is a manifestation of some tribal irrational behavior. I don’t believe it is. The entire Israeli political establishment benefits from the current political chaos. Netanyahu knows that his lawyers will manage to postpone his trial indefinitely as long as Israel is heading towards elections. His Likud Party members also know that without Netanyahu at the helm, their party would evaporate into dust.

Netanyahu’s enemies in the Right know that the public do not believe in them or their abilities, and with good reason. Centrist parties are also a vanishing political power. The disappearance of Netanyahu and the rise of a wall-to-wall right-wing coalition is a death sentence for them. The Israeli Left doesn’t even deserve our attention as it is nonexistent by now and what is left out of it is treacherous to every recognized left value. Israel’s Left is more concerned with Identitarian matters and LGBTQ fights than anything that is remotely working class-related, labour and social oriented or concerned with Israeli-Arab reconciliation.

ORDER IT NOW

The truth of the matter is that everybody around Netanyahu expected him to win this election and form a coalition. The image of ‘success’ in the ‘fight against Covid’ was orchestrated by Netanyahu in the most profound manner and even this didn’t translate into a victory. The truth of the matter is that for Netanyahu and the rest of the Israeli political world, the continuing paralysis is a survival strategy.

This detachment between the masses and their oligarchs is not new to the Jewish universe. This is exactly how the Shtetl, the Diaspora Jewish town, was run. In the Shtetl, the rich and the oligarchs married their daughters to the young rabbinical protégés just to form a very successful bond between wealth and authority. Consequently, the history of the Jewish Ghetto is a story of a great divided society of a cognitive and social partition between the people and the elite, between the ‘Rothschilds,’ so to say, and the rest: “hewers of wood and drawers of water.”

Israel was born to amend the Jewish fate and correct the Jewish Diaspora’s destiny. It was made into a reality by left-leaning Zionist ideologists and agitators who vowed to equalize Jewish society, to make Jews ‘people like all others.’ They tried to defy capitalism with labour, agriculture and new ethics. But the reality of the Jewish State proves the complete opposite. In just a few decades Israel has morphed into the worst shtetl of them all. It manifests every aspect Zionism vowed to eradicate. It is corrupted, divided and run by an aloof society that cares for itself and itself alone.

  1. Gilad has made me sympathetic to the early zionist. what would Herzl think of Modern Israel. would he give up on Jewish identity or would he retry Israel somewhere else like Argentina, like he wanted to in the first place.

It is hard for me to hide the fact that I am also sympathetic to the Early Zionist philosophy. I think that early Zionism is a rare moment of Jewish self reflection. Those Jewish ideologists diagnosed the ‘Jewish question’ (or ‘Jewish problem’ as they often referred to it) but offered a wrong line of treatment. In fact I don’t think that the ‘question’ can be ‘ resolved’…

… or maybe defined by unbridled solipism and obsession with themself, their Jewishness, compairing themself to other Jews, compariing themself to non-Jews… as long as it’s about Jews and especially about themself as a Jew, or maybe about other Jews as proxies for themself.

  4. Like in the old Jewish joke they boycott each other. Netanyahu’s past allies such as Avigdor Lieberman and Gideon Sa’ar, who are actually to the right of Netanyahu, are committed to one goal: stopping the most popular Israeli right-wing politician.

I like the Israeli ability to form popular parties without insurmountable hurdles from monopolistic, existing organizations. That said, while the Israeli system appears to me to contain one valuable element that theoretically permits an actual democratic system, it lacks in that no term limit appears to exist for the executive.

In the case of Netanyahu vs Gantz, it looked to me like Netanyahu never intended to keep his deal to consummate a power sharing arrangement. Afterwards, no one is ever going to actually trust Netanyahu again, at this point – even allies.

As with the Israeli beaches awash in an oil slick created by their own clandestine frog-man sabotage operation, the sneaky guy may have a good long run, but he always eventually runs out of luck at some point, and a realization of this may be why such disparate ideologies align against one another. How many terms can an executive serve consecutively before an elected official is a de-facto Monarch?

I think that the overlooked facet of a true representative democracy is that the executive and representatives exist only as interchangeable caretakers, in any legitimate implementation, acting to serve the constituency. No office in such govt ‘belongs’ to any individual, nor can anyone successful enrich themselves in such a system.

Any system that sits semi-permanently in the hands of a single individual or party, that consolidates rule by a ‘usual suspects’ elite, or in which the decision of the same elite few is eternally the fate of the many, is effectively only masquerading as a democracy.

Anything that begins with a lie or deceit is very likely to continue in such fashion, eventually becoming systemic.

As the Galilean warned – ‘wide is the gate and broad is the way..’

  5. This is brilliant, Gilad. What a tragic circus they’ve got going there!

It strikes me that the jewish negativist spirit, if we can all it that, is probably connected to the fact that the 10 Commandments are all stated in negative terms – “thou shalt not…”

And I am again reminded of the path of jnana, of wisdom, in Hinduism – that has the basic tenet of “neti, neti” – “not this, not this” – essentially rejecting everything that is not God, with the aim of, at last, finding God. It is supposed to be a long and dry way, and is contrasted with the path of bhakti, devotion – where one prays to a personal God, in order to contact the Source of Creation, which is said to be a much quicker and surer way.

It is not far-fetched to say that Jesus preached a way of Bhakti: “thou shalt love the Lord God with thy whole heart, thy whole mind, and all thy strength. And love others as yourself.” – and therefore, we can say that in the divergence of Judaism and Christianity, we find a mirror image of the divergence between jnana and bhakti in Hinduism.

Thanks for the article, and may God be with you 🙂

  7. @Gilad Atzmon

what do you think is the solution? abandonment of Jewish identity? Is there a collective solution or is it individual, in which each Jew decides to take the Atzmon and Shahak path or other alternative paths? Alternatively the problem could be defined as the gentile problem, of which the solution is to convert everyone into a Jew, an idea you elucidate in Being and Time.

Just Imagine a world full of Jews! There are punchlines to be written. I will leave that to other comentators.

I would recommend Gilad to ditch this muddy logic which tries to establish general rules, a preposterous attempt at explaining the complex, the layered human psyche and its often muddy waters.

A man who hates violence and puts himself on the line against it actually is actually ‘latent’ a man who likes to indulge in it?
Someone who dedicates himself to fight rape and abuse culture is a latent abuser?
Voltaire actually would have liked to be , or was latent a Christian, nay, even a pope perhaps?

Don’t dig into the human psyche, especially not where it is a labyrinth and a swamp, ignore it, transcend it, look for clear waters where the sun reaches into.

I think Gilad is right, that Herzl actually hated most of the unassimilated Jews he saw and wanted to make them into something different.

He himself was a completely assimilated Jew, born in Budapest, moved to Austria, where he became a feuilleton writer and playwright.

So, he didn’t embrace his fellow Jews as brothers and sisters. He thought he was different. He was different, and he didn’t want to be that kind of Jew.
So he had an identity problem.
    You could call that self-hate.
Coming up with a plan to get others change to accommodate his neurosis and identity crisis.

He could have just continued with his assimilated life.

    I sure wish he had.

Not that anti-semitism didn’t exist. It did. But Herzl’s solution created an idea that removed Jews from having to deal with their position as outsiders in a society that didn’t want them and that they didn’t want to be a part of. Instead of grappling with the *reasons* that they were not wanted and why they wanted to be in a society without being part of it, Herzl gave them an excuse, and an avoidance mechanism and justification. Take someone else’s land and give the Big Ef You.

Except, it doesn’t seem to be working out that well . . . Back in the self-constructred ghetto, still not accepting what it means to join the human race.

The reverse, I think. Herzl hated the assimilated Jews. Meaning non-Zionist.

There’s an article on this subject that slipped in under the radar onto The Unz Review, The Anti-Semitic Birth of the Zionist State that’s … very interesting.

The Zionists hated most Jews because they were not Zionists. German Jews might want to escape Hitler but they had no-where to go, didn’t want to go to Palestine.

Why did Samuel Untermyer drive an economic boycott of Germany in the 1930s while the Jews of Palestine were friendly with Hitler and offered continued trade?

Read the article, but my inference is that Herzl, (“he was not alone: other Zionist leaders — Vladimir Jabotinsky, Chaim Weizmann, and others — were equally openly hateful of their Jewish brethren”) they, wanted the European Jews who had not gone to Israel to all be killed.

Remember, that was what the Maccabees were all about, all Hellenistic Jews i.e. all assimilated Jews to be killed. Glorious achievement.

Also Untermyer’s idea. That economic boycott, what was it for? What could it be for other than to make the Germans hate the German Jews?

It would be glorious if the Zionist Jews could cause the Germans to kill six million of the assimilated Jews who had remained on Europe, chosen not to go to Palestine. Glorious, because then the Germans could be blamed for it, and it would hugely boost the legitimacy of a Jewish state on Palestine.

It has always been my contention that Jews cannot live in a society that is mostly Jewish. Of course, I know nothing about the details of Israeli politics.

In the late 60’s, I had a couple of classmates at university who had left Czechoslovakia during the “Prague Spring”. They were both Jewish. One was from Prague and the other from Bratislava. Their first summer in the UK, they were invited to Israel by the appropriate Jewish organisation.

On their return, the one from Prague was determined to go to Canada on completing his studies. He hated the orthodoxy that he encountered in Israel

The one from Bratislava met a Jewish girl from the same city and married her. Later, the couple moved to Israel. I think this encapsulates why Israel is destined to always be divided. The only thing holding it together was the fear of the surrounding countries. When this wore off, Netanyahu used the threat of the virus to unite the people. I have no idea what is the next rabbit that he will pull out of his hat. 🤣

Very strange for someone who calls Gilad — with his multi-national band playing an African-American style of music — a racist. He can’t even make goy friends by pressing a button on his laptop.

    From my blog:

Here Kahn-Harris goes full “Jerusalemite,” declaring Atzmon’s work as herem, and abandoning the Athenian ethos of the dialectic. In a review of another Atzmon book, Kahn-Harris denounces Atzmon’s “pretentiousness and bathetic incomprehensibly (sic)” — as sure a case of psychological projection as you are likely to see.

Hi, I read Miko Peled’s piece when it first appeared; I am on his email feed.
    And it is very interesting.
I don’t argue with what you say, and it is reinforced by Peled, I guess.

Still, if you are an arch-assimilated Jew, plus a first-class snob, but you hate other assimilated Jews and pretend to be a shtetl Jew and want all of the “real” Jews to become Zionists and emigrate to Palestine—in my book you have a major identity problem. If you aspire to be the leader of the Zionist Jews—or maybe all Jews, the King of the Jews—and you raise your son to be secular and refuse to have him circumcised, in my book you have a major identity problem. Sure, there are ways to explain this; I am not dumb! But you still have an identity problem and a very mixed-up man.

Just reading the Wiki entry on Herzl. OK, Wiki, Still, very interesting. As far as I can see Herzl traveled to Palestine once, to meet with Kaiser Wilhelm there. He tried to make all kinds of deals with the Ottomans to have Jews pay off the state debt in return for a piece of Palestine. His children were all extremely unhappy. Two committed suicide. One died a heroin addict. His only grandson established contact with the London Zionist organization, but “Norman was snubbed by Weizmann and by some in Israel during his visit because of ego, jealousy, vanity and their own personal ambitions. Brodetsky was Chaim Weizman’s principal ally and supporter in Britain. ” This last vignette certainly lends credence to Gilad’s portrait of the internally vituperative Jews.

  18. Maybe the most important thing you can do, Gilad, is to – as loudly as you can – call out your fellow men of Jewish heritage who are in the Jewish elites –

And shout to them to STOP their insanely malicious campaign of seeking to destroy white societies, a game which is quite dangerous even for themselves … and which has the high risk of ending in huge blowback for all Jews, even for the innocent ones, even for Jews like yourself critical of Jewish power

One theme I see in discussions of Jewish power on places like 4chan, is that when someone says, ‘But aren’t there really good dissident Jews, like Gilad Atzmon or Ron Unz or Henry Makow?’ … someone else responds with, ‘They are just Jews trying to avoid the vengeance that they see coming … but when push comes to shove, they ultimately side with their fellow tribals’ … it is that bad out there

As global crisis unfolds, we might head into a situation where blowback forces seek to finish the job ‘not done’ during the Third Reich … and the non-Jewish oligarchs might turn and let it happen … China as well has been closely studying Jewry, and knows what is afoot, elite Jews attacking whites now, and already targeting Chinese as maybe next in line

  23. Anthony Fauci and Pfizer CEO Bourla should debate who is correct – Bourla who claims his vaccine is good to the last drop in teens and even children and thus the patient or victim is perfectly protected after the injection or Fauci who claims it is not and that the shot does not provide anymore protection than wearing a mask ! In fact according to Fauci a mask or two or three, etc.,is still essential after the vaccine as it was before. But Bourla says the shot will apparently even prevent covid in 12 year olds who up until now have not been known to get it. Duh…..
I have seen no research on just how long this alleged ‘spike’ RNA and protein of mRNA of the shot continues ‘living’ and replicating inside the patient or victim’s body after the toxic load is injected.I don’t think this RNA interacts with the persons DNA but just where does it go ? Does it have an affinity to certain specific cells or does this mRNA eventually infiltrate all human cells after the injection ? And if so does it have a turn off mechanism or does it just continue replication in the patient or victim’s body,ad finitum ? In conventional vaccines I don’t think the whole dead or weakened cells of of virus nor any of its DNA or RNA continues replicating in the human body. For how long does the mRNA in these pseudo-vaccines of Moderna and Fpizer etc., continue replicating ? Does anyone know ?

Pfizer Says Its COVID-19 Vaccine Protects Younger Teens
BY THE ASSOCIATED PRESS March 31, 2021 Updated: March 31, 2021

Pfizer announced Wednesday that its COVID-19 vaccine is safe and strongly protective in kids as young as 12, a step toward possibly beginning shots in this age group before they head back to school in the fall.

Most COVID-19 vaccines being rolled out worldwide are for adults, who are at higher risk from the coronavirus. Pfizer’s vaccine is authorized for ages 16 and older……

In a study of 2,260 U.S. volunteers ages 12 to 15, preliminary data showed there were no cases of COVID-19 among fully vaccinated adolescents compared to 18 among those given dummy shots, Pfizer reported.

It’s a small study, that hasn’t yet been published, however researchers reported high levels of virus-fighting antibodies, somewhat higher than were seen in studies of young adults.

Kids had side effects similar to young adults, the company said. The main side effects are pain, fever, chills, and fatigue, particularly after the second dose. The study will continue to track participants for two years for more information about long-term protection and safety…..

“We share the urgency to expand the use of our vaccine,” Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla said in a statement. He expressed “the hope of starting to vaccinate this age group before the start of the next school year” in the United States.

Pfizer isn’t the only company seeking to lower the age limit for its vaccine. Results also are expected by the middle of this year from a U.S. study of Moderna’s vaccine in 12- to 17-year-olds.

The FDA has already allowed both companies to begin U.S. studies in children 11 and younger, working their way to as young as six-month-olds…..

The true holocaust isn’t the “death camps/gas chambers” narrative, but wars, famines, induced financial collapses, sexual perversions, race conflicts, general devastation brought by judeo-bolshevism and other Jew/Freemason-controlled systems, not to exclude Whites mass adoption of being dupes in self-destruction … The death toll is approx 150 millions in Rus-Europe alone, and it is still ongoing with sanctions and threats of war against Israel’s enemies …
… and of course the Palestine disaster.

A culture of deceit, death and destruction on a truly “biblical” scale.
    And no end in sight.

  34. hillaire says:

“Pity the nation that is full of beliefs and empty of religion.
Pity the nation that wears a cloth it does not weave
and eats a bread it does not harvest.

Pity the nation that acclaims the bully as hero,
and that deems the glittering conqueror bountiful.

Pity a nation that despises a passion in its dream,
    yet submits in its awakening.

Pity the nation that raises not its voice
save when it walks in a funeral,
boasts not except among its ruins,
and will rebel not save when its neck is laid
between the sword and the block.

Pity the nation whose statesman is a fox,
    whose philosopher is a juggler,
and whose art is the art of patching and mimicking

Pity the nation that welcomes its new ruler with trumpeting,
    and farewells him with hooting,
only to welcome another with trumpeting again.

Pity the nation whose sages are dumb with years
and whose strongmen are yet in the cradle.

Pity the nation divided into fragments,
each fragment deeming itself a nation.”

    Kahlil Gibran..

prescient words indeed, for both the stolen state and it’s hubristic golem.. though I have taken liberties with it’s application.

That ‘joke’ tells us more about the joke-teller than about the protagonist.

WUHAN 2019 is more correctly Fort Detrick 2019. How unsurprising to see vicious race hatred from a Sabbat Goy stooge of the Zionazis.

  37. It was Otto Weininger’s brilliant observation that helped me grasp that it was me whom I hate the most.

Does Gilad really hate himself like that? Or is it just me missing the irony as I slip into dementia?

Jesus was not a self hater. Otherwise he would not have said the following:

“The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ The second is this: ‘Love your neighbour as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these.” (Mark 12: 29-31)

Obviously there’s no moral virtue in loving your neighbour like this if you hate yourself. You end up like Israel, or more sinisterly, Hell.

  38. Ron T, says:

Here we go again, the self-proclaimed ex-Jew, anti-Zionist doing hasbara for Israel by analyzing the “elections”, not mentioning with a single word that these are Apartheid elections in a Jewish supremacist state, i.e meaningless for anyone who knows the matter. Whether one Zionist Jew or another leads the settler colony is not going to change its character. Israel has relied on this facade to placate its western sponsors and present itself to the world as a democracy, while ethnically cleansing Palestinians and imposing an open and permanent apartheid regime. As someone who opposes Apartheid and ethnic supremacy, Israel’s “elections” are nothing more than a deception.

  39. We have been through this before. Wouldn’t you say that Judaism is a mental illness more than anything else? Wouldn’t conversion help, maybe even cure?

The mRNA molecules that were injected degrade/get destroyed by ribonuclease after a little while, just like with any mRNA molecule. As there is no replicating full live virus that could produce new viral RNA, the time to clearance of viral genetic information is much shorter than in case of an infection.

The genetic information will remain so that future infections can be fought. If what you say is true then there’s absolutely no point in taking the witch’s brew.

This is the closest to adressing my query about whether the vaccine’s RNA can interact or affect the body’s DNA that I have come across but it only demonstarates more questions than answers. This is dangerous shit,NOT ‘science’.

Could mRNA Vaccines Permanently Alter DNA? Recent Science Suggests They Might.
Research on SARS-CoV-2 RNA by scientists at Harvard and MIT has implications for how mRNA vaccines could permanently alter genomic DNA, according to Doug Corrigan, Ph.D., a biochemist-molecular biologist who says more research is needed.

  43. Jesus – very God and very man, Creator, Redeemer of mankind ex nihilo – is not some psycho-babble “self hater” as you smug atheists will most certainly discover to your dismay..
