  4. I hate to fall into the stereotype of a Jew-obsessed UNZ reader. However this deserves notice. A dissident geneticist Dr. Eran Elhaik is upending the idea that Ashkenazi Jews are descended from ancient Levantines. Here is his website https://khazardnaproject.wordpress.com/2017/08/29/shaming-23andme-works/

I had the pet bullshit theory that Jews are pretty average in intelligence, but that Jews more closely related to the Khazars are more intelligent, and since Khazars are Turkic and Turkic people are more Asian, and Asians are pretty smart, it is the Asian portion of Khazar genes that is responsible for Jewish geniuses.

Well that too is bullshit, the video below explain the multi-people non-levantine origin of Ashkenazi Jews. but one really neat fact is that those who Ashkenaz whose ancestors spoke exclusively Yiddish have more East Asian (Q haplogroup male, and the equivalent Asian female haplogroup) than other Ashkenazi Jews.
Dr. Eran Elhaik says this at 27:30 in the video below

    neat stuff

It looks like an Iran war is unofficially off the table. Ukraine is a no go. North Korea has long secured its borders. Is this it for the US military? Forays in Africa and Middle Eastern states? At a minimum I thought maybe Venezuela would see some limited operations but nope.

It’s very odd. An America without wars of aggression/wars of choice is no America at all. Instead it will settle for more pseudo-racial tension as the main distraction. Boring.

Emergency rule is not going to go away and Joe Biden is not going to go away. The Disunited States remain loyal to D.C. money masters. The Republican party a silly shadow of a political party standing for nothing and caring about pelf. The States squat on their haunches and the population obeys. Then we can talk about the unseemly haste to inject everyone with experimental drugs and let the devil take the hindmost. I do not believe we have a Republic, and I am not convinced we have any real interest in being one. We are returned to a time darker than that our poet Vachel Lindsay wrote in with few men and mostly cowards who pretend they are free.

Maybe they could carpet-bomb French towns again ? It’s been a while.

French bashing is still well tolerated, even popular in most English speaking countries. There should not be that big of an outcry.

Plus they dare build their own fighter jets, even get them to fly: that would show them to behave, all the while keeping the U.S military busy for a week or so.

Much better than poking the Russian bear who just showed, here and there, that he’s had about enough.

Bonus, the surrendering monkeys could be made to give thanks, maybe pay for the help, even adopt junk food and ban healthcare once and for all.

Only good things, I tell you.

  8. First off it looks like the black woman wasn’t ‘quite’ all there, if you know what I mean. Not quite the full shilling.
Secondly, the string of attacks, on Asians, will be down to western msm calling out the fake virus as having originated in Wuhan , China.

So when you add western, msm propaganda with low IQ blacks (and whites) you get revenge attacks on Asians.

I’m not trying to defend blacks and their high criminality, but certainly of late, courtesy of the Covid 1984 fake virus propaganda, it’s certainly one of the main reasons for attacks on Asians.

On the bright side, if we must have blacks, stealing from ‘Black Lives Matter’ strikes me as one of the more harmless activities they could get up. But don’t hide the stories. We all want to hear.

  13. CIA “Masters-of-the-World”
    Short Technical History
    3,097 words

Abstract: I offer a General Thesis involving the Globalist Deep State initiating and developing the capacity to take over the world, and to effectively create a hidden Technocracy run by the United States CIA – even before the CIA per se’ was created.

It likely began with the Manhattan Project in 1942 and other dirty tricks accomplished during World War II under the OSS, and progressed through various other events of world-balance-of-power-changing significance including the blocking of the Suez Canal in 2021. I cite this only as a hint at the capability of what the Globalist Deep State through the CIA can do if it wants to: the making of airplanes crash and disappear; buildings collapse, people disappear, elections stolen, markets manipulated, “if you can dream it – the CIA can DO it!”

I suggest that the CIA (or whatever one cares to call it) has had approximately 80 years of unlimited money; unlimited intellectual monopoly; unlimited other resources (material and otherwise); and most importantly, unlimited carte blanche ‘permission’ and direction if you will, to do whatever the hell it wants to do to assist the Globalist Deep State in continuing to amass more power and money and control over the world for its own private ends.

This thesis is purely conjecture on my part. This list is not exhaustive; it is just what I’ve been able to cobble together from commonly available resources. I’m sure others can add dozens or hundreds of other events of world-balance-of-power-changing importance of like kind of which I’m unaware.

Due to the nature of the Manhattan Project, its technology, security, secrecy, operations, protocols, etc., it’s not too difficult to imagine that the Manhattan Project was in fact a “CIA Project” – even before the CIA was in existence.

As with The Prisoner’s Dilemma, the CIA/Deep State is now at a point where it can mess with people and other nations just because it CAN, not necessarily because it needs to. If we agree that the CIA is the ‘dirty tricks’ branch of the Globalist Deep State, like it or not, it does seem that the CIA has found the kernel by which it is able to largely do most anything it wants with the world and thus, perusing this list, one might gain a better understanding of how the hell the world REALLY works!

    * * *

    1) 1942-1945; Manhattan Project: EVERYTHING in the world changed after the Manhattan Project:

    – the Manhattan Project was the single, seminal event in world history that changed the way life is lived for most all humans, the way governments govern, and the way the slaves and peons experience reality

    – the government became the god of everything for everyone, like it or not

    – the ‘social contract’ supposedly established by the Constitution and 200 years of US history was thrown out the window by the covert, extra-legal changes the operation of the Manhattan Project made in the lives of US citizens – whether they knew it or not

    – life in these United States and in the rest of the world can rightfully be marked on the grand scale as “before the bomb” and “after the bomb”; the bomb became the conceptual line of demarcation; the independent Yankee Farmer was on his way out and the corporate/government slave/worker was surely on his way in. The Manhattan Project proved, maybe more than any other one thing, that government CAN become all-encompassing, all powerful, all amoral… and that consequently, individual citizens can become unwitting pawns and slaves to the government/corporate establishment doing anything and everything the master of the slaves wants them to do: “give me bread – and I’ll be your butcher of other humans – even though I may possess one of the brightest scientific minds ever known”…

    – saying something was ‘secret’ and that it could not be divulged gave the government tremendous leverage over the rest of the world in all fields as it had a virtual monopoly on what was ‘true’ and what was not. Thus rose the proliferation of fake news, lies, psyops, propaganda, infomercials, disinformation, etc.; the black and white of truth and falsehood became intentionally blurred by government obfuscation designed to control the minds, beliefs and actions of citizens. “We can’t tell you that because it’s classified”.

    – the “Government Blackball” was the tool used to intimidate, coerce and control citizens in the workplace by the threat or taking of job opportunities from them for infractions of national security; “if you mess up here, we will revoke your Security Clearance and we can make it so you will never work on a government contract project ever again ANYWHERE; and that’s just the beginning; if you mess up badly enough we can shoot you on sight, hang you in front of your wife and kids, or imprison you for life; we have your mug shot and prints on file so you can’t run or hide”; Nature creates the sex drive; the sex drive creates kids; the law demands parents feed, cloth, educate and house those kids; the bankers create housing (Levittown’s) and 30 year mortgages; the government creates jobs; one man that messes up is sufficient example to scare the shit out of millions of others who need jobs to feed and house THEIR kids; the same technique and process infiltrates throughout large corporations and the military-industrial-complex, wall street, everywhere! This kept most workers meek, docile, hungry, compliant – and silent. THAT BEHAVIOR CREATED FOLLOWING GENERATIONS OF MEEK, MILD, COMPLIANT, CONFORMIST CITIZEN-WORKERS – many of whom are your neighbors today.

    – the two combined factors of Secrecy (the embargo on information) and the Blackball were far more important than the winning of the World War in securing to the Globalist Deep State owners of the US government the power they so crave; they could have lost the War and it would not have mattered as much as gaining world domination through the auspices of the Manhattan Project.

    – the dumbing down of the citizens began about this time; group-think was in, free-think was out.

    – the greatest secret of all to come from the Manhattan Project is that the technical ability to invent the A-bomb may have been the LEAST important of the accomplishments of the Manhattan Project for the Globalist Deep State

    – the monopoly of having the first and only A-bombs (for a time) brought a new giddiness and exhilaration, but also a new awareness and new realization; the realization was that if the Globalist Deep State (US) were to survive into the foreseeable future, it would have to rule the world; there could be no half effort at world dominance; this would require a means and method to promote and control this; the ‘future’ CIA would become the US agency created to do that;

    – the beginnings of “big science”

    – the beginnings of government-monopoly health/physics: monitoring, disclosure, treatment, and control changed

    – the formalization of security clearances and information classifications

    – the implementation of the concept of compartmentalization and “need to know”

    – the formal embargoing, monopolization, and weaponization of information

    – the realization by government that with the creation of enough Fiat currency out of nothing but the stroke of a pen, the government could do almost anything it could imagine

    – the realization by government that hidden, black budgets could get more done than visible, transparent congressionally-approved appropriations could; that the way to govern going forward would be to keep everything secret and hidden not only from enemies but also from the electorate, congress and the courts;

    – the creation from nothing of numerous secret towns and cities that had not existed before

    – the lies, deception and crooked, illegal ‘deals’ that were made to accomplish the goal

    – the fact that $2.3 billion in expenses and nearly one million workers working on one project could be effectively hidden from world view for three or more years was itself a major accomplishment in propaganda and deception – a great beginning for far bigger things to come in the future

    2) 1945-1952; Operation Paperclip; the acquisition of some of the world’s brightest minds from around the world for the benefit of US military programs: Space, rocketry, weapons, aeronautics, spying, espionage, etc; the Fort Hunt Treaty; Nazi General Gehlen, Bormann, Nazi Yellow cake; continuation of the Nazi SS Intelligence apparatus AFTER the War; both the German state, and the German Military surrendered at the end of the War – but the Nazi SS and the Nazi Party did NOT; the de facto ‘beginning’ of the CIA two years BEFORE it was to become the CIA

    3) 1945-1991; Cold War; numerous false flags used to create fear and hysteria to solidify CIA control over congress and the courts, and to feed cash to the Military-Industrial-Complex;

    3.1) 1947 Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) Officially Authorized; dissolved the OSS; incorporated the Nazi SS Intelligence Network and Operations;

3.2) 1947 to present; Roswell and other UFO Incidents; The CIA got involved with information embargoing, control and non-disclosure to include psyops, propaganda, lies, etc. to further CIA ends.

    4) 1951 . . .; Area 51, NASA, China Lake, Vandenburg, TTR, Canaveral, Diego Garcia, Creech, Dugway, et al; the creation and establishment of numerous places around the world where secret scientific and technical work can be done safely and securely; MASSIVE black budget infrastructure projects hidden in plain sight; the growth of the CIA as a stand-alone agency-contractor-procurer-hirer of the secret government; lots of surveyors, concrete, rebar, blacktop, sewer lagoons; contracts with only PO boxes for contact and payment; roads and power-lines that lead to places that don’t exist; buses and airlines that YOU and I can’t ride; towns and man-camps with no names that aren’t on any maps; places where “CIA Research” is done: it may be an “Air Force Installation”, but the research being done is initiated by, directed by, paid for by, gleaned by, embargoed by, and later used by the CIA; Las Vegas becomes “Langley West” and the Strip becomes its cover;

    In collaboration with the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), the CIA became sole arbiter of what information was available to the public; e.g. – the publicly-perceived laws-of-physics became 30-50 years BEHIND the real, KNOWN laws of physics known only to the US government and its secret agencies as administered by the CIA; no new thought, discovery, invention or technology was able to be disclosed or exploited unless the CIA determined it to have little or no value to the government; the lone inventor/thinker/discoveror was done; the CIA controlled all new information and applications of same; corporations, in order to secure government contracts, became de facto ‘arms’ or ‘agents’ of the CIA; thousands of patents per year of corporate invention and discovery became the norm; they willingly practiced first-right-of-refusal to the CIA of any new technology or discoveries generated within their corporate structure in exchange for government contracts and ‘preferred contractor’ status; scientific journals and other publishers became tools of the CIA willing to embargo information in exchange for controlled leaks of years-old ‘new’ information; how best to keep people “barefoot, pregnant and in the kitchen”: hoard all new scientific discoveries and technical information and only allow the publication of things that are so old they’re of little use or value on the open market when disclosed; secret government research labs run by the principles learned from the Manhattan Project allow all this;

    Young, bright minds are captured early; sent to Berkeley, USC, Stanford, MIT, etc. and given opportunities to soar – while being watched, and their creative output controlled and embargoed; the CIA got the best minds of the generation; a generation or more of the world’s brightest kids got sucked into working for the most secret, duplicitous, and evil employer around; they might think they’re working for Draper, EG&G or Teledyne, but in fact, they’re really working for the Globalist Deep State via the CIA; the ‘black’ budget became the ‘real’ budget; ‘conspiracy theories’ were only ‘theories’ to those who were not in the loop; Bernays was “the man”;

    The CIA torched the Library at Alexandria and canceled the Age of Enlightenment; the Gutenberg Press was moved to Langley – ‘six’ floors below street level; intellectual regression to pre-Renaissance-era levels was inculcated world-wide;

    5) 1962-2012; Three Kennedy Assassinations: actions done to insure the CIA’s future existence

    6) 1960-1979; Viet Nam War; more tests of EVERYTHING! solidification of Deep State power; tests of Agent Orange and others for future land poisoning elsewhere; just another “outdoor research lab” for tests of lots of stuff; to provide cover and diversion for the K129 Recovery

    7) 1969-1979; Faked Moon Landings: to provide cover and diversion for the K129 Recovery; “under which shell is the pea . . .”; and to complete the change-over in the public eye of NASA from being a military spy agency (as it had began), into the public ‘beneficent’ agency it now tries to appear to be; the perfection of simulation-and-modeling as a refined technique for psyops and propaganda; Laurel Canyon, Lookout Mountain and Hollywood film adjuncts and collaboration; the world becomes Kubrick’s ‘back lot’ procured by the CIA;

    8) 1968-1978; K129 Soviet Submarine Recovery “Project Azorian”: after recovering the Soviet K129 Submarine and the most critical secrets of the Soviet military war-making powers, protocols and policies in place at the time, the CIA succeeded in gaining sufficient technical mastery to cause the death of the USSR later; that was just the beginning of all the follow-on “mastery of the world” effects (but what a start!) Tell the biggest lie; tell it well; repeat it often. “We know enough about how your most secret critical systems work that we can keep your ICBMs from leaving the pad; we can disarm your H-bombs; we can keep your seeds from germinating; we can destroy your currency; we can poison your food and water; we can turn your farmland into wasteland for 24,000 years. Die voluntarily – or we will kill you”. (this is the same kind of thinking as that of Fermi and Oppenheimer when they formulated the plan in 1945 to poison the food of German citizens with finely ground radioactive fissile materials if the A-bomb did not ultimately work; THAT plan was ultimately rejected);

    The same message is given to ALL nations resulting in the US CIA gaining de facto supremacy and control over all nations from that time forward; (most have gotten the message, some few try to test the limits);

    This project became the precursor to Stuxnet, 20 years later;

    “Preemptive Nuclear First Strike” became the firmly embedded US war-waging doctrine for all future policy;

    9) 1991; USSR Dies: due to Soviet emasculation from the K129 Recovery actionable intelligence trove; proof of the value of K129 Recovery Effort; Russia is thrown a life-ring; CIA writes the script and controls the narrative for Globalist Deep State World Domination from then on; from time to time Russia and China play like they are going to start a war with the US; the US responds with measured strength and nips their heels but the events are solved with no nuclear war anywhere in the world; champagne toasts are exchanged; a few lives may be lost on both sides but that price is small to pay for some semblance of quasi-world stability; the MIC of most nations get to play their games and life goes on, the rich get richer, the powerful get more powerful, the weak and poor get weaker and poorer; the Globalist Deep State further coalesces its world domination; but for so long as the CIA makes the rules and calls the game, Nuclear Winter is prevented; Putin was given a role and he seems to be playing it as scripted;

    10) 2000; Y2K; false flag test of many components; perceived by those outside the loop to be a failure but was instead a grand success for the perpetrators; creation of “Five Eyes” further solidifies and enhances the Thesis presented here;

    11) 2001; 9/11: Mini-nuclear shaped-charges used effectively; resulting in the Iraq war; Patriot Acts, etc.; more tyranny, ad infinitum

    12) 2010; Stuxnet, et al : the CIA proved to all world powers that almost nothing can be safe, secure or hidden if the CIA wants to muck it up badly enough; “We are in charge!”

    13) Numerous Others . . .; Beirut, Bali, China, Afghanistan, etc.; planes crash, people disappear, Chinese pork and chicken supply problems; various pandemics, run drugs, launder money, ‘fix’ elections, manipulate markets, etc.; just daily dirty tricks – “keep the skill-set sharp”

    14) 2020; Covid Hoax and Lock-downs: dump Trump; test Universal Civilian Lock-down plan effectiveness; unjustly enrich pharmaceutical companies, control people totally with the jab, test the ease with which populations can be hoodwinked and controlled; etc.; dry run for the REAL event later as needed;

    15) 2021; Suez Canal Blockage: a couple clicks of a mouse from a console in Nevada shut down most world commerce in a minute; “Full Speed; Hard Right”; [“now we own it!”] one more strategic pawn in the world game of global dominance; just another test for use when really needed; next time may be a dozen ships and permanent blockage;

    * * *
To Recap: It seems that since 1972 or so, the CIA has become quite proficient at the task they have set for themselves – to protect the US from nuclear attack on its soil by any other nation – and in so doing, by aggressive and offensive default, rule the world. The Manhattan Project, the K129 Recovery, and the Stuxnet Cyber-attack were key events in this 50 year exercise. Numerous others have played greater or lessor roles. So far, Nuclear War has NOT broken out on US soil. Can the CIA continue to prevent that?

Has the CIA created some sort of “Peace in Our Time”? If so, at what price?

All I’m attempting to suggest here is that like with the peeling of an onion, if one begins to peel back the visible layers, there seems always to be ‘just one more layer’. And even if one gets to what one may assume to be the ‘core’, even THAT may have more layers that need to be peeled to find the true center of the thing.

The CIA has attempted to create a situation (like the onion) where it is largely removed from any cause-and-effect chain of plausibility. “Things just happen” – but no one seems to know who or what caused them.

How near is the Globalist Deep State to achieving its long range goals?

Is Nuclear Winter imminent – or forever abolished?

I have been skeptical about Marine Le Pen’s chances in the 2022 French elections. However, the current government’s inability to deal with violent migrants is opening the door: (1)

Nearly nine in 10 French citizens say that both security and terrorism are key issues that will determine which candidate they vote for in next year’s presidential elections, a new opinion poll has revealed.

The poll, released by the international polling and market research firm Institut français d’opinion public (Ifop), showed that 86 percent of the French population considers “security and the fight against terrorism as well as the fight against [crime]” as crucial issues for the 2022 elections, Le Journal du Dimanche reports.

France saw a myriad of terrorist attacks between May 2020 and April 2021. In the months of September and October, alone, four people were wounded (two seriously) after a radical Islamic terrorist from Pakistan attacked them with a butcher knife outside of the old Charlie Hebdo headquarters; the history teacher Samuel Paty was beheaded by a Chechen Islamist migrant after showing caricatures of the Muslim prophet as a part a class on freedom of speech; three Christians were murdered in the Basilica of Notre-Dame in Nice by a Tunisian boat migrant; and a Greek orthodox priest was wounded seriously after being shot by an assailant.

Last week, a female police officer in Rambouillet — a French commune of just 25,000 people — was stabbed to death by a Tunisian migrant in front of her own police station.

The populist leader Marine Le Pen — who enjoys widespread support among police officers and the military for her hardline positions on crime and migration — undoubtedly see opportunity in the poll numbers. A survey published last month by the French cable channel BMFTV showed that 48 percent of those questioned about France’s 2022 presidential election said that Marine Le Pen’s victory was “probable”.

Highly credible retired military officials are warning about a potential civil collapse: (2)

An “open letter to our political rulers” published on April 21 on the website of the conservative weekly Valeurs Actuelles and signed by more than 7,600 retired military personnel, including 26 generals and an admiral, 78 colonels or their navy equivalent and hundreds of officers from the Army, the Air Force, the Navy and the Gendarmerie, warns the French political class of the risk of a civil war if the government fails to take action.

Unlike their active-duty colleagues, retired military personnel are no longer bound by the ban on making their opinions known publicly and can therefore express themselves more freely. That is why the list of signatories apparently does not include active duty officers, although Armed Forces Minister Florence Parly promised on Sunday that this would be checked and sanctions taken if it turns out that active duty soldiers are also among the signatories.

However, more than the warning by members of the military, what seems to send a wave of panic through the government and the left is the reaction of Marine Le Pen, president of the Rassemblement National (National Rally, RN), who called on the signatories of the open letter to join her in her fight.

There is an unprecedented swing against Open Borders Globalism inside of France. There is no external leader that can step in to help to prop up the French left. Merkel is retiring and her CDU successor Armin Laschet lacks international credibility.

A year is a LONG time in politics. However, this is the first serious threat to Elite Left rule in Europe in a “core” country.

    PEACE 😇

‘Working-Class People of Color Hate the Riots Left Cheers.’

Maybe true — but the underlying assumption is idiotic.

The implication is that ‘people of color’ — blacks, Hispanics, Arabs, the Multiple flavors of East and South Asians all share some quality beyond not being ‘white.’

No, they don’t. One might as well assume that since none of them resemble raccoons, barn swallows, puff adders, and bluefin tuna are all alike.

Worse, as long as we’re stuck in this ‘people of color’ versus whites paradigm, we’ll never get anywhere. Hispanics are tired of blacks. Asians loathe them. We could unite tomorrow and solve our black problem in five minutes.

There’s the expression, ‘divide and conquer.’ The corollary would be ‘unite your opponents and lose.’ That’s what we practice now.

  17. Erebus says:
    @orchardist

How near is the Globalist Deep State to achieving its long range goals?

So near they can see & smell it. So far that it remains beyond their grasp.

More accurately, it remains beyond their exclusive grasp. They’ve lost the ability to achieve their goals without sharing the spoils – seats at the table of great powers will have to be ceded to outsiders. It is no longer possible that the world will be run by the Globalist Deep State. The best they can hope for is that the world will be run by an amalgam of Deep States with slightly different MOs, interests and socio-economic-political characteristics. The resulting New World Order will be the sum vector of their internal and external power struggles and policy debates. Not what the CIA had in mind, but there it is.

The wall faced by the “Globalist Deep State” is that they have lost control of the world’s wealth. The Chinese Deep State has “cornered the market” for produced goods (aka: wealth creation), and the Russian Deep State (as ever, punching far above their weight class) has all but “cornered the market” for energy distribution (aka: wealth distribution) on the World Island. Add in their respective abilities to defend their nations and their interests militarily, and it becomes clear that their respective Deep States’ interests cannot be denied out of hand. A naked lunge for global hegemony by a CIA/MIC-based Deep State will necessarily either fall short of the mark, or at best result in the most devastatingly Pyrrhic of victories.

A decade or two ago, they all but had their goals in hand. Alas, as they went about “creating their own realities’, that train left the station. Their increasingly confused floundering about on the now empty platform is what we’ve been witnessing ever since. Unless they get their act together fast, they may even lose significant parts of their own heartland (USA & EU). Should that be allowed to happen, unable to bring the West’s resources under consolidated control, they’ll simply fizzle out. Or…

Is Nuclear Winter imminent – or forever abolished?

The question is unanswerable. We (or at least I) simply don’t know whether their “long range goals” have an All or Nothing clause attached, and to what extent the various parties to the agenda have committed themselves to it if there is such a clause. Doubtless, not all of them have but which will prevail is above my pay grade.

The great question facing the Russian and Chinese Deep States is whether the CIA’s designs can be maneuvered into failing peacefully, if not gracefully. This decade will see that Either/Or play itself out. My read of the situation is it won’t take the whole decade.

PS: I fully agree that the impact the early 20thC’s Technocracy movement underpinned the rise of the CIA. I think you may find interesting that the 1930’s Bolshevik Critical Race Theory proponents found in Columbia U. an equally hospitable home when Hitler threw them out of Frankfurt. Exploring their relationship, given the current socio-political situation in the US & EU may yield rewards.

Once one commands world Cyberspace ‘totally’ (or as much of it as is needed to make it function like it is total), can one keep it forever? i.e. can dominance NOW lead to permanence?

Can possession of dominance now be “cascaded” to insure dominance forever? – i.e. if one has it now, is it even thinkable that one would ever let go of it – ever?

Can cascading successes and dominance’s [like the Manhattan Project; Project Azorian; Stuxnet, et al] be parleyed into perpetual possession and dominance forever – or for as long as we might understand “forever” to be?

Someone said, “the difficult can be done this afternoon; the impossible takes a bit longer” . . .

. . .turn off a fluid valve; a bearing runs dry; it overheats; a rotating member runs out-of-balance; the engine destroys itself; a plane crashes somewhere in the world; a scientist, diplomat, investigative reporter, or Prime Minister dies. When a young, svelte, female Airman with her hair in a tight bun sitting at a console in Nevada can, with just a couple clicks of a mouse, bring down an airliner, or block the Suez Canal with a ship turned kittywampus, or wreak havoc and destruction someplace 12,000 miles away that she can only ‘see’ on-screen – the nature of world dominance has changed. Who woulda thunk it! [Right after the War, the word was “plastics”; today the word is ‘Mechatronics’.]

They may think so (as you seem to), but if they do they’d be as wrong as it’s possible to be.

In the 1st place both Russia and China have their own domestic internet infrastructure and could isolate their IT sectors pretty effectively if/when push comes to shove. Iran is much more vulnerable, which is why it’s placing itself under their umbrella(s).

More importantly, in the 2nd place both of their IT infrastructures sit on a robust civil infrastructure whereas the USA’s admittedly very sophisticated IT sits on a dilapidated, 100 yr old mess. EG: Taking the entire US power grid down instantly and permanently (or effectively so) is well within the capabilities of a small “sleeper” group.
Where’s the CIA’s “technical mastery” when the lights go out?
Where is it 3-4 wks later when the diesel runs out?
Would the ensuing domestic chaos, incl 100 nuclear reactors melting down overwhelm even the tight-bunned ladies in Nevada?
Would the remaining 4-eyes (CA, UK, AU & NZ) take up the CIA’s banner knowing what happened to their big brother? Even if they did, the fact that they’d be playing with half of a suddenly very vulnerable deck wouldn’t be lost on them.
Would the Euro-weenies allow the CIA to play their games from their soil? Or would they recognize the new realities and deport every operative they could find?

This and other such considerations is why the US’ blustery threats are being shrugged off by their rivals.

I simply couldn’t believe all this. She said the Haluzim would be armed-“three-quarters of them”-and it would be a good thing if there was a row at the Wall, to “show them that we are here.” I didn’t believe a damned word of it: too fantastic; but I told her I’d be ready to go along at five o’clock if she would come back. She said there wouldn’t be any trouble until sundown, and five o’ clock would do. I went along with her when she came back. She was inconceivably cynical and flippant about the whole thing; said a row would be a very good thing for the Zionist cause, arouse world Jews and increase contributions to the new Agency.

So what are Palestinians supposed to do when their homes are being stolen and nobody seems to give a damn? What happens when those Jew squatters continue to flood crops with raw sewage, raze utility poles, attack civilians daily and steal their land with the support of the authorities? Hamas has killed more Palestinians than the IDF in recent days. (1)

Asked specifically about three children killed in an incident in Bein Hanoun, in the northern Gaza Strip, IDF Spokesperson Hidai Zilberman told Israel’s Army Radio on Tuesday that a number of those killed in Gaza were hit by errant rockets fired by Palestinian terrorists, not by Israeli airstrikes.

“We know that one third of the rockets fired from the Gaza Strip did not reach Israel and fell inside Gaza,” Zilberman said. “What we can learn from this is that many Gaza residents who were injured or killed were not hit by Israeli airstrikes but the civilians were hit by rockets from the terrorist groups themselves.”

At the same time, the IDF pointed out that Hamas and Islamic Jihad have purposefully embedded themselves within the civilian population. “They are using their civilians, the Palestinians, their homes, schools, hospitals, and mosques in Gaza as human shields and are making it virtually impossible for us to strike only those involved in military activity,” said IDF Lieutenant Colonel Jonathan Conricus on Tuesday.

Israel continues to take great pains to minimize civilian casualties. But it is impossible to prevent them entirely in a conflict like this, particularly as Hamas also utilizes the cynical practice of firing from behind human shields,” he added.

As Tel Aviv came under fire on Tuesday evening from a barrage of rockets launched from Gaza, the Israeli army sent a message to Gaza citizens: “The IDF is striking Hamas weapons stores hidden inside civilian buildings in Gaza. Although Hamas wants to put you in harm’s way, we urge you to stay away from Hamas’ weapons sites and get to safety. Our goal is only to strike terror.”

When will the ICC prosecute Iranian al’Hamas for War Crimes? Use of civilians as Human Shields certainly qualifies.

The whole thing really is an indictment of Zionists, if not necessarily Jewish culture in general.

Taking Israel to stand for the whole, the Jews have to be the worst rulers of all time.

On the one hand, they seem to be incapable of reconciling their subjects to their new status — ala Spaniards with Indians in the New World, for example, or the British in India. On the other hand, they don’t seem able to simply crush all thought of resistance with unadulterated terror ala the Mongols.

No — they don’t reconcile their untermenschen-to-be to their fate. Nor do they manage to intimidate them. They just endlessly harass, humiliate, dispossess, abuse, and simply enrage their victims.

…and they wonder why resistance continues. What else is supposed to happen? The Palestinians have no choice. The Jews refuse to give them one.

It wouldn’t be possible overnight, of course, but rather, through a war of attrition against the indigenous population. Beyond the Jordan is another story, but it certainly explains their role in destabilizing neighboring countries. They’ll settle for a subjugation strategy for the time being.

There are just too many statements from Zionism’s twentieth century magnates to ignore, from Begin to Weizmann to Ben Gurion — not a one of them religious in the traditional sense, yet appealing to a Scriptural rationale nevertheless. Thing is, westerners — and particularly Americans — are very naive when it comes to understanding this. Zionists labor to exploit this naivete. It’s how they convince so many that a negative word about Israel is identical to marching Jews off to the death camps.

Now I’m not saying they’ll actually get what they desire, but it’s certain they want everything from the Nile to the Euphrates, and this is why they continue to behave as they do.

You are correct that Muslims in Judea & Samaria are denied choice. However, you cast the blame in the wrong place. They are victims of Islamic organizations… Fatah, Hamas, PLO, etc. Rational negotiation would yield fair compensation and a good place to go. Many Muslim parents would take their children and leave to avoid another generation of failure.

Islamic terrorists stole the pipes and concrete needed to sustainably use the Gaza aquifer. It has now been destroyed by Muslims, and it is irreplaceable. Desalinization is a pipe dream. The Islamic colony in Gaza cannot build it, cannot operate it, and cannot afford it. 1.5-2.0MM occupiers will have to depart Gaza within a decade or two. Muslim decolonization is inevitable.

The Jews value their false image of victimhood most of all. Given their reputation and history, if they where to outright kill all the Palestinians – they would be seen as the grand pariah of humanity.

The Jews have already squandered their WWII victim status. The Jews are now in a no-win situation. No matter what they do – they will look bad.

  50. So, anyways …

I’ve been doing some research into the Sheikh Jarrah issue. Found a nice paper authored by Avocats Sans Frontières (Lawyers Without Borders), essentially affirming what most legal experts already knew: Israel’s occupation of East Jerusalem is illegal and, as the occupying power, it has no authority to affect transfer of its own population to it, making its determination of land ownership therein null and void. Pretty boilerplate.

I read once more about the double-standard practiced by Israel’s courts, one that allows Jews to claim property they had owned prior to 1948 while denying Palestinians the same. There’s a story from 2009 about a Palestinian family who was able to procure vital documents from the Turkish government which proved that the title deeds upon which Jewish organizations have relied to prove ownership of the Shaikh Jarrah properties are — brace yourselves now! — fraudulent. (The court, of course, didn’t admit those documents, though ASF noted their glib dismissal.)

Jonathan Cook’s coverage of the same story included one particular detail that elicited a chuckle, however dark the humor:

Late last year the Associated Press news agency exposed a scam by settlers regarding land on which they have built the Migron outpost, near Ramallah, home to more than 40 Jewish families. The settlers’ documents were supposedly signed by the Palestinian owner, Abdel Latif Sumarin, in California in 2004, even though he died in 1961.

You seriously can’t make this stuff up.

For the time being, they have to settle with some method of subordinating those countries. They’ve done so successfully with Egypt and Jordan. The Levant is still up for grabs, of course, but they’re quite active there, whether directly or by proxy.

There are a couple of ways of looking at such a programme.

One is to see it as an end in itself — as an actual goal, to be realized and then satisfaction will ensue.

The other is to see it as merely a means to express the underlying, perhaps subconscious desire — which is for conflict without end.

The Muslim ‘strategy’ for 1,400 years of occupying Palestine consists of endlessly tormenting the indigenous Jewish & Christian population in such a way as to only infuriate them more and drive them to more effort aimed at encouraging non-indigenous Muslims to decolonize.

Muslim Elite abuse of their own people is a most egregious form of evil — sheer stupidity, creating misery in aid of absolutely nothing.

Muhammad’s original Colonial Jihad in ~600 AD was followed by 1,400 years of Occupation. A remarkably long run for theft of Christian & Jewish land. However, the Colonial Muslim Occupation of Judea & Samaria is now ending.

    • How many Muslim children will die because Islamic Elites like Mahmoud Abbas keep fighting, despite the 100% certainty of defeat?

    • Would it not be better to chose PEACE and end 1,400+ years of colonial abuse targeting Infidels (Christians & Jews)?

Palestinian Jews offer the olive branch of PEACE to non-indigenous descendants of colonial Islam. There is help available to leave non-Muslim Palestine and return home. However, Muslim leaders must choose to end their obviously futile occupation of Christian & Jewish land.

The first is that Hamas has demonstrated an ability to simply flood Iron Dome: the $50,000 interceptor rockets can’t take out everything.

Part of all interceptor systems is threat analysis. Iranian al’Hamas munitions are of such low quality the system can intentionally ignore the 80%+ of rockets headed to empty desert.

What the 150 of 600 fail rate has demonstrated is Iran’s willingness to kill Muslim civilians in Gaza with friendly fire.

The second is that Hamas is now hitting Northern Israel. These aren’t your grandfather’s bottle rockets any more.

I am sure that Russia will be pleased when unguided Iranian rockets reach Syria. Jordan is already unhappy with Iranian rockets headed their way. Inferior munitions with long ranges create all sorts of undesirable political complications.

The third is that Arab-Jewish riots are breaking out all over Israel proper.

And, the Muslim community is suffering disproportionate casualties as they senselessly assault fortified positions. It takes a special kind if stupid of to do this.

The plan here was for Netanyahu to spill a few hundred gallons of gentile blood and thus solidify his political position. That’s not what’s happening.

The plan here was for Ayatollah Khameni’s proxies to strike an unprepared target by surprise. That’s not what’s happening.

I remember participating in a street march on a well known American campus back in ’91, protesting the first Gulf War. Quite a crowd. We brought downtown traffic to a standstill. Near the tail end, its momentum dying, I happened to catch the spontaneous rant of a young firebrand railing against numerous indignities, among which he happened to itemize Christian and Muslim fundamentalism. It hadn’t dawned on me at the time, but after a reflective spell, when I had become more conscious of the Jewish presence in my environs, I realized just how many had joined us at that rally, and the feisty young advocate’s omission stood out in stark relief against the stagecraft to which I’d grown accustomed since birth.

Sometimes it’s what you don’t hear that makes all the difference.

Muslim “friendly fire” in Gaza has become so destructive that even known pro-terrorist collaborators like Defense for Children International – Palestine [DCIP] are admitting the truth about Muslim civilians killed by Hamas negligence & incompetence: (1)

what DCI-P admits next is amazing:

In a second incident around 6:05 p.m., initial investigations suggest a homemade rocket fired by a Palestinian armed group fell short and killed eight Palestinians, including two children. The rocket landed in Saleh Dardouna Street near Al-Omari Mosque in Jabalia, North Gaza, according to evidence collected by DCIP. Mustafa Mohammad Mahmoud Obaid, 16, was killed in the blast, and five-year-old Baraa Wisam Ahmad al-Gharabli succumbed to his injuries around 11 p.m. on May 10.

Palestinian security sources and explosives experts indicated the cause of this explosion was a Palestinian armed group rocket that fell short. Another 34 Palestinian civilians were injured in the blast, including 10 children, according to DCIP’s documentation.

Eight killed and 34 injured from one Hamas rocket.

    And then:

Six Palestinian children and two adults were killed in a third blast that occurred around 6 p.m. in Beit Hanoun about 800 meters (2,600 feet) west of the Gaza Strip perimeter fence. Those killed included Rahaf Mohammad Attalla al-Masri, 10, and her cousin Yazan Sultan Mohammad al-Masri, 2; brothers Marwan Yousef Attalla al-Masri, 6, and Ibrahim Yousef Attalla al-Masri, 11; as well as Hussein Muneer Hussein Hamad, 11, and 16-year-old Ibrahim Abdullah Mohammad Hassanain, according to information collected by DCIP. When the blast occurred, members of the al-Masri family were reportedly harvesting wheat in the field outside their home, and their children were playing nearby, according to information collected by DCIP.

DCIP has not yet confirmed the cause of these deaths. At the time of the incident, Israeli drones and warplanes were reportedly overhead and Palestinian armed groups were firing homemade rockets towards Israel. DCIP continues to investigate these incidents to determine and identify the responsible parties.

The deaths of the al-Masri family was already confirmed by Israel on Tuesday as being from Hamas rockets. There was clearly no military target and Israel doesn’t randomly target a family – Israel diverts rockets when it sees children in the area, and they were outside.

Watching “Muslim leaders” kill Muslim children is a tragedy, but there is little anyone on the outside can do. When will parents get rid of the so-called “Muslim leaders” who are killing their children?

  63. On the US “Nuclear Preemptive First Strike Capability” Doctrine

One does not make a cherry pie unless one intends for it to be EATEN. So too, one does not design, build and test a new nuclear weapon unless it is intended to be USED.

“Ultimate use” was the prime motivator for nuclear weapon designers, test group directors, and AEC officials. “Ultimate use” is why Congress appropriated the funds for new nuclear weapons development. “Ultimate use” is why the Pentagon plays war games.

The activities engaged in by the US Nuclear Weapons Testing Industry for 47 years (1945-1992) was NOT frivolous or willy-nilly – those involved had purposeful intent and patriotic will. They BELIEVED that the activities in which they were engaged was purposeful and had high moral value.

“Nuclear Preemptive First Strike Capability” was ALWAYS paramount and the highest goal in all this activity. “Absolute reliability” i.e. – will a device detonate when required to under all conceivable conditions? – was the optimum objective – the holy grail. Anything less was unacceptable. “How the hell do we know if the damn thing is going to WORK”! Test, Test, Test!

    To believe differently is incongruous.

Perhaps something of interest to Ron Unz personally — apparently Hans-Georg Maaßen linked to an Unz Review article (not sure which one) on his Twitter timeline, which caused a minor shitstorm in DE when Luisa Neubauer, a young woman prominently involved in the ‘Fridays for Future’ movement inspired by Greta Thunberg, (more or less) called Maaßen an anti-Semite for linking to the UR:

Run the text thru an online translator; these normally do a pretty good job.

I did not see exactly what Neubauer said (about Maaßen), but here it is claimed she specifically called Ron Unz an anti-Semite and ‘Holocaust denier’: “Und mit der Behauptung, beim Plattformgründer Ron Unz handele es sich um einen Antisemiten und Holocaust-Leugner …” — the UR is described as right wing/populist (“rechtsoppositionellen”).

Maaßen is no minor figure: from 2012 until late 2018 he was head of the Verfassungsschutz, which is a kind of political police in DE nominally charged with protecting the German Constitution (Verfassung or Grundgesetz) — but via a major shitstorm he was forced out after disputing that migrants were violently targeted after a German was stabbed to death (by a migrant) in the city of Chemnitz in 2018 — Maaßen was widely smeared at the time as the German political and media establishment moralized about the Hetzjagd (which never happened) — he recently announced that as a member of the CDU he will run for a seat in the Bundestag (link).

    Perhaps.

That’s the worst of it. I wouldn’t count on it.

After all, where is their foot now, and what are the Jews doing? Have you checked out the last one hundred days in America?

There’s a compulsively critical, subversive streak among Jewry — that would be perfectly tolerable if their power was proportionate to their numbers. After all, Armenians, to take an example, most certainly have their idiosyncrasies, but in general, we can live with them. Armenians aren’t going to make us declare war on Turkey, nor are they going to enforce a 9:00 pm curfew for all unmarried women under forty. They can keep on being Armenians, and the rest of us can adjust a bit, and we’ll all get by.

With Jews, it’s a different matter. We do collectively become victims of their little quirks. Oh boy, do we.

  81. @eah

Everything you write is spot on, of course. Just one small thing:

1948 was already well into the era of the modern nation state when the state of Israel and its borders were recognized.

Israel’s borders have never been legally determined. Back in 1947, when the U.N. advanced its ridiculous partition plan, that plan was not recognized by those representing Palestinian interests, so it was never ratified by the U.N. Security Council, giving it no force of law. The U.N. then organized a special committee to resolve the inequities of the plan, but before those could be worked out, Israel waged a war of aggression against Palestinians (resulting in the naqba), the British Mandate ended, and Israel declared statehood unilaterally, whereupon Arab armies then entered the fray.

Israel doesn’t have borders. It has a front line that’s constantly advancing into Palestinian land, one which — they hope — will extend to the Nile in the east and Euphrates in the west, incorporating the Arabian Peninsula. They do dream big, after all.

But yes, the vast majority of nations have set aside this kind of manifest destiny ambition. It simply doesn’t factor into their politics.

Country formation happened long before the UN existed. And, it will still continue long after the UN has been abolished. Any UN involvement is equivalent to the janitorial crew arriving after the real work is done.

Palestinian Jews have a sovereign claim on Jewish Palestinian land stretching back thousands of years. Palestinian Christians have an overlapping claim on part of this land (Golgatha, Gethsemane, etc.), which is an issue for the two indigenous Palestinian faiths to work out with each other.

Not only is the UN unnecessary, it is actually a destructive force. The General Assembly and various agencies are populated by Elite bureaucrats. A class guaranteed to exacerbate any situation when they get involved. Setting aside the UNSC:

When has the UN actually made things better? Its hard to think of any example.

When has the UN made them worse? Its agencies empower Non Governmental Organizations [NGO] to traipse about, instigating political upheaval.

A number of major foreign media outlets were hoodwinked (see above tweet) and reported the original IDF claim.

‘As Israeli journalists probed the IDF public affairs staff, they discovered the elaborate hoax and its purpose. For some strange reason, the army believed Hamas commanders read the NY Times and make operational decisions based on its headlines. The IDF had planned, according to this report., to lure Palestinian militants into a trap which would bring hundreds of their fighters into the group’s elaborate underground defensive system, whereupon the IAF would bomb the tunnel network, burying the fighters alive. But Maariv reports today the ruse failed. Hamas did not bite, and its fighters lived to fight another day.

‘IDF sources told Maariv the plan had been carefully orchestrated over three years and the army had set great hopes for it. It claimed that the only reason it failed was that it hadn’t allowed enough time to convince Hamas to fall into the trap…’

Statement: AP ‘horrified’ by Israeli attack on its office

NEW YORK (AP) — An Israeli airstrike destroyed a high-rise building in Gaza City that housed offices of The Associated Press and other media outlets on Saturday. All AP employees and freelancers evacuated the building safely.

AP President and CEO Gary Pruitt has released the following statement:

We are shocked and horrified that the Israeli military would target and destroy the building housing AP’s bureau and other news organizations in Gaza. They have long known the location of our bureau and knew journalists were there. We received a warning that the building would be hit.

The Israeli government says the building contained Hamas military intelligence assets. We have called on the Israeli government to put forward the evidence. AP’s bureau has been in this building for 15 years. We have had no indication Hamas was in the building or active in the building. This is something we actively check to the best of our ability. We would never knowingly put our journalists at risk.

We are seeking information from the Israeli government and are engaged with the U.S. State Department to try to learn more.

This is an incredibly disturbing development. We narrowly avoided a terrible loss of life. A dozen AP journalists and freelancers were inside the building and thankfully we were able to evacuate them in time.

The world will know less about what is happening in Gaza because of what happened today.

Usually, they target Arab or Muslim journalists or TV stations (much easier to get away with).

On Friday, IDF issued a tweet through their English language social media channels that “air and ground troops are currently attacking in the Gaza Strip.” Predictably, establishment media outlets gobbled up the news as the latest evidence of an Israeli invasion of Palestine.

In response to the supposed invasion, hundreds of Hamas fighters who had previously been hiding among the civilian Palestinian population fled into the terror group’s extensive tunnel network to prepare for a bloody final battle with Israeli forces, according to The Jerusalem Post.

    The invasion never came, however.

Instead, as the confused Hamas fighters came out of the tunnels, 160 Israeli aircraft flew overhead and rained fire and fury upon the terrorists.

The Jerusalem Post reported the attack struck 150 targets including anti-tank and mortar teams. The IDF verified the claim on Twitter with impressive footage of the assault.

Hamas suffered a crushing defeat once they no longer were able to hide behind human shields.

No one will believe attempts to spin an obvious IDF victory into anything else.

    PEACE 😇

What’s interesting about the success of the ruse, was that the IDF did the exact same thing in 2008, just in reverse. IDF commanders said they weren’t allowed to attack, so the Palestinian police went ahead with their graduation parade, and 200 Palestinian fighters were killed in a surprise attack. This attack seems to have buried dozens of Hamas fighters in their tunnels, and more importantly, it destroyed those tunnels as useful hideouts. So far, about half of Hamas regular forces are out of operation.

Hamas has very poor intelligence on Israel and relies heavily on media reports, as it has no choice. Now you can’t do this kind of ruse too often. You have to skip a war or two.

Although it would be amusing if Hamas fell for it again in the very next round 🙂

The problem is locating and identifying Hans fighters, who hide among the civilian population and in tunnels.

1– author Sara Yeel Hirschhorn, who appeared o,n BBC. Asked about the recent reports from Carnegie and Human Rights Watch calling for equal rights for all people in the landHirschhorn said that the violence we are seeing today shows that while equality may be ideal, “the kind of violence that may be necessary to create a different paradigm” from the two-state paradigm is “truly staggering,” and “it may not be the right time for that.”

Last night Hirschhorn rationalized Israel’s privileging of Jews from the country’s new critics in the House of Representatives:

—–I have no problem with Ilhan Omar calling #Israel as #ethnonationalist #state, I just wonder if she can find me any nation-state on the face of the planet that IS NOT an ethnonationalist state.

The Israel lobby is plainly on the defensive over the images of disproportionate destruction/killing. Michael Oren attacked the New York Times for purveying a “total Hamas narrative.”

Gil Troy joins in: “You would think from the article that Israel is expelling hundreds of Palestinians in Sheikh Jarrah. The Western media’s complicity is not naive — it’s diabolical.”

But: hundreds of Palestinians have been evicted from East Jerusalem neighborhoods, and Palestinians regard this as part of a very long tradition of ethnic cleansing.

Longtime Israel supporter Bari Weiss has a piece at Substack that is very valuable inasmuch as it offers a naked justification of the slaughter of innocents, as the price of Zionism/Jewish self-determination:

—-it appears that more than 50 Palestinians have been killed. Some of these people are entirely innocent non-combatants, including children. This is an unspeakable tragedy. It is also one of the unavoidable burdens of political power, of Zionism’s dream turned into the reality of self-
    determination.

    • Are these the children Hamas used a human shields?
    • Or, the children killed by Hamas “friendly fire”?

Even strident anti-Israel groups, such as Defense for Children International – Palestine [DCIP] are forced to admit that tragic Muslim friendly fire incidents are taking place: (1)

a homemade rocket fired by a Palestinian armed group fell short and killed eight Palestinians, including two children.

The IDF captured a particularly inept Hamas ” friendly fire” failure (below).

Also, Iranian Hamas has chewed up over 20% of its available rocket supply, either fired or destroyed in storage. At last count, they have managed to killed 10 Israelis, all unarmed civilians. The total ineffectiveness of the Hamas offensive is obvious for all to see.

Has the Hamas provocation weaked Israeli resolve? No.

  113. https://www.wsj.com/articles/almost-nothing-youve-heard-about-evictions-in-jerusalem-is-true-11621019410

In the case now before Israel’s Supreme Court, the owner is an Israeli corporation with Jewish owners whose chain of title is documented back to an original purchase in 1875. Until 1948, the neighborhood now known as Sheikh Jarrah was home to both Jewish and Arab communities. Jordan invaded Israel in 1948 and occupied half of Jerusalem, expelling every one of its Jewish inhabitants and seizing their property.

The plaintiff and its predecessors in title have spent four decades in court seeking to recover possession of the properties. In every case, courts have ruled in favor of the owners. In the latest lawsuits, the courts ruled that four of the eight defendants were squatters with no legal rights in the land, and the remaining four were descendants of tenants who had never paid rent.
Nevertheless, Israeli courts have treated the Palestinian squatters and leaseholders alike as “protected tenants,” and would shield them from eviction indefinitely if they paid rent. They have refused to do so.
The laws involved are the same as any landlord would invoke. There is only one objection in this case: the owners are Jews. Western progressives have elevated the desire of some Arabs not to have Jewish neighbors into a human right and a legal entitlement that even the Jewish state must protect.

The real story behind Sheikh Jarrah is a microcosm of the conflict: Israel is condemned for policies that are entirely unremarkable, while discrimination against Jews is proclaimed to be a rule of international law.

When Israel reunited Jerusalem and ended the Jordanian occupation in 1967, it had to decide what to do with these properties. In the many cases in which Jordan had officially transferred the title of Jewish-owned properties to Palestinians, Israel respected the new titles—and still does—even though they are based on forcible takings in a war of aggression followed by ethnic cleansing against Jews. Where title had never been transferred, however, Israel returned properties to their owners. Critics of Israel claim that Arabs can’t recover property under the same law, but the law is entirely neutral—it is simply the case that Jordan took property from Jews, not Palestinians.

Title to the properties in dispute in Sheikh Jarrah was never given by Jordan to Palestinians, so Israeli law respects the unbroken title of the plaintiffs. This case has nothing to do with ethnicity or religion. The only discrimination in the legal treatment of Sheikh Jarrah property is historic, by Jordan, and against Jews to the benefit of Palestinians.

While Florida is not the first state to act, the recent passage of

HB 741 also bans [public schools from] “applying a double standard to Israel by requiring behavior of Israel that is not expected or demanded of any other democratic nation, or focusing peace or human rights investigations only on Israel.”

Public Universities are covered by this law. In the Southern U.S., they enroll the bulk of the student population. To illustrate the point — In Florida, what are the largest public & private universities?

This entire tag team are bankrupt of facts and truths but continue to support each others false claims. In their pretend fantasy world. It is sort of funny. Talha quit because he ran out of myths regarding the Muslim/ Jew conflict.

The most dispelled myth presented by this group is that Palestinians are a distinct tribe of people that resided in Palestine as the original descendants from Cannon, prior to the creation of Israel. You can show them passports from 1927 of Jews with Palestinian passports, to know avail.

Palestine is a physical place that does not represent a people. Palestinians called themselves Arabs not a separate people until 1967. Palestine was considered part of Syria. These are documented facts. Yet they continue on with the phony Palestinian cause. 90 % of the Palestinians can be traced back to Arabs living in Syria, Lebanon, Iraq etc. You can track tribal genealogy by their last names, yet the cling to this false narrative of Palestinians as being the original Cannonites. Historical truth means nothing to these Jew haters. One size fits all.

    https://jcpa.org/article/who-are-the-palestinians/

    MYTH
“The Palestinians are descendants of the Canaanites and were in Palestine long before the Jews.”
    FACT
Palestinian claims to be related to the Canaanites are a recent phenomenon and contrary to historical evidence. The Canaanites disappeared from the face of the earth three millennia ago, and no one knows if any of their descendants survived or, if they did, who they would be.
Sherif Hussein, the guardian of the Islamic Holy Places in Arabia, said the Palestinians’ ancestors had only been in the area for 1,000 years.9 Even the Palestinians themselves have acknowledged their association with the region came long after the Jews. In testimony before the Anglo-American Committee in 1946, for example, they claimed a connection to Palestine of more than 1,000 years, dating back no further than the conquest of Muhammad’s followers in the 7th century.10 And that claim is also dubious. Over the last 2,000 years, there have been massive invasions that killed off most of the local people (e.g., the Crusades), migrations, the plague, and other manmade or natural disasters. The entire local population was replaced many times over. During the British mandate alone, more than 100,000 Arabs emigrated from neighboring countries and are today considered Palestinians.

  126. You cannot make up how stupid the propaganda exist on UR day after day the same BS.

    https://jcpa.org/article/who-are-the-palestinians/

Yet again, Palestinian leaders are claiming that the Palestinians are descended from the Canaanite people who lived in the land of Canaan before the Israelite tribes settled in it. No less than the Chairman of the Palestinian Authority, Mahmoud Abbas, made that claim in Germany; no one was taken aback by his remarks or questioned him.1

Chief Palestinian negotiator Saeb Erekat frequently makes the assertion,2 and during an international forum, he insultingly sniped at senior Israeli politician Tzipi Livni that his origins lay with the Canaanites of Jericho who were wiped out by the Israelites, alluding to “war crimes” of Joshua ben Nun.3 Again, none of the senior international officials who were present made any effort to ask questions, raise doubts, or come to the defense of the abashed Israeli representative.

Ironically, a strong dissenting view to this thesis that the Palestinians can be traced back to the Canaanites comes from Hamas. On March 23, 2012, the Hamas Minister of the Interior and National Security, Fathi Hammad, linked the Palestinians’ origins to Egypt and the Arabian Peninsula:

Who are the Palestinians? We have many families called al-Masri, whose roots are Egyptian! They may be from Alexandria, from Cairo, from Dumietta, from the north, from Aswan, from Upper Egypt. We are Egyptians; we are Arabs. We are Muslims. We are part of you. Egyptians! Personally, half my family is Egyptian – and the other half are Saudis.4

The Palestinians’ Canaanite narrative is not new. It emerged after the fall of the Hashemite monarchy in Syria in 1920, Syria’s incorporation into the French Mandate, and King Faisal’s flight to Iraq so that he could assume the throne there in 1921. Yasser Arafat claimed that the Palestinians are descendants of the Jebusites, whom he describes as a Canaanite tribe.5 In short, this argument has been around for a while.

Of course you keep ignoring the most critical point. The situation is about religion, not ethnicity.

It is 100% objectively proven fact that Palestine is not holy to Muslims. Muhammad led his Colonial Settlers to the region ~1,400 years ago. Why do Muslims insist on stealing and occupying Infidel (Christian & Jewish) lands.

It is 100% objectively proven fact that al’Aqsa is in the wrong place. The story requires an existing mosque on a hill before Muhammad passed. His Colonial Settlers had not invaded Jerusalem by then. There was no existing mosque on the Temple Mount or any other hill in the city. al’Aqsa needs to be moved to a historically accurate location.

Peace is straightforward. Relocate the non-indigenous religion and its structures to Muslim lands. There is plenty of money available if safeguards guarantee it will not be siphoned off to corruption or violence. A New Muslim Palestine that does not have a border with authentic Jewish Palestine would resolve many of the problems. A Protectorate run by a reliable 3rd Party, such as an Egyptian Military Governor, would also be helpful.

…or hey. As far as Muslims are concerned, the Quran is actually what God gave to Abraham — just uncorrupted by the hands of man over time. They’re the real Jews! They should get it!

So everyone should have Palestine. How about just letting the Palestinians have it?

You, as a Jew in America by way of Eastern Europe have no more right to Palestine than Talha, as a Muslim in America by way of Pakistan has a right to it. The Palestinians do have a right to it. They were living there.

That is what we are fighting for. We do not recognize the Muslims as the real Jews. We Jews are the real Jews. That is what wars are for. The Muslims have coopted the Tomb of the Patriarchs where Sarah Issac, Jacob, and Abraham are buried. The land for the tombs were purchased by Abraham, it is the first land transaction listed in the bible and gives detailed account of the transaction. The Muslims took it over and you guessed it and built a mosque over it and refused to let the Jews pay there. It is in Hebron. The Jews have repopulated Hebron and taken back the tomb.
We Jews do not recognize the Islamic appropriation of our holy sites, we want them back. We are willing to fight for it.

We accepted it Colin. The Muslims rejected it and went to war. They lost we won. Wars have consequences. The Muslims never accepted a Jewish state and swore to the destruction of the Jewish state and they were going to push the Jews into the sea. I think if someone said that to you, you would get as much space between them and you as possible. Originally Trans Jordan was part of the Jewish mandate. So we were left with half of the half of the loaf.

TransJordanian Muslims rejected the reality of a Jewish Palestinian Nation — and engaged in ruthless ethnic cleansing that began even before the Partition Declaration. This has continued unabated for over 70 years as IslamoApartheid is the official policy of the Fascist Muslim Authority

Iranian al’Hamas realizes they are losing. And, the political price for a public surrender is more than they are willing to pay.

The amount of Jihadi Colonial effort going into public pleas for a ceasefire is a sign of significant weakness. For example: (1)

Mousa Abu Marzouk, the deputy head of the political bureau of the Palestinian movement Hamas, told the Lebanon-based Al-Mayadeen TV channel that he believes “the ceasefire efforts currently underway will succeed”.

“I expect a ceasefire within a day or two,” he said, without providing further details.

Another Hamas official on Wednesday predicted an “imminent” ceasefire thanks to mediation efforts by Egypt and Qatar currently underway.

I added the Wikipedia article on Abba Eban (Aubrey Evans when a British army officer). I think my ancient memory of him was correct and that there was no way he would have countenanced the murder of JFK by Mossad. He was Deputy PM to Levi Eshkol for the 5 months after Ben Gurion resigned before the murder. So it would have to be assumed that Ben Gurion set it going with Shamir before he resigned and Eban in particular was kept in the dark.

From that it follows that it would be worth following up at least two possible Eban related lines. One presumes he was compromised shortly after the murder by enough information to require him to make a choice and accept that his only realistic choice was to be part of the defence team rather than be ridiculed and ostracised. The other guesses that he would have picked up clues to the truth in the long run – and his was a long run near the top – and that a really diligent search of everything to do with him would throw up clues.

  154. @Fran Taubman

‘You really do not know the meaning of ethnic cleansing until you understand Islam. ‘

Whatever its other flaws, Islam is decidedly the most tolerant of the three Abrahamic religions. Both Christianity’s and Judaism’s records are wretched in this regard.

‘A chap named Brian Mast, a Republican member of the House from Florida, sponsored the measure. “Under my bill, the United States will sanction these groups that are supporting terrorism,” Mr. Mast said in a floor speech. “Or if we do not pass this bill, we will not stand together to sanction these groups that are enabling this terrorism.”

‘Democrats then blocked the bill, and on party lines, by a vote of 217 to 209. Tragic. Tragic that the Democratic majority is moving against Israel and in favor of Iranian-backed terrorists. Tragic that there isn’t total bipartisan support for backing Israel, the only true democracy in the Middle East. And certainly America’s greatest ally in that region…’

The following words need some ‘find and replace’: ‘tragic,’ ‘terrorist,’ ‘terrorism,’ ‘democracy,’ and ‘ally.’

  164. Israel Destroys Gaza’s Only Library as Biden ‘Threatens’ Reporter Who Asks About Gaza

Biden continues his shameful betrayal of any moral stance on the Gaza slaughter. He flew to Detroit to get behind the wheel of a massive Ford F-150 electric truck. But before he was able to step on the accelerator, he was met at the airport by two members of Congress, Rashida Tlaib and Debby Dingel, who each have major Arab constituencies. They weren’t happy. An aide recounted in more refined language what Tlaib must’ve told the president:

“Palestinian human rights are not a bargaining chip and must be protected, not negotiated,” the aide said Tlaib expressed to Biden. “The U.S. cannot continue to give the right-wing [Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin] Netanyahu government billions each year to commit crimes against Palestinians. Atrocities like bombing schools cannot be tolerated, much less conducted with U.S.-supplied weapons.”

“Congresswoman Tlaib reiterated that the status quo is enabling more killing, that the current U.S. approach of unconditional support for the Israeli government is not working, and that the White House must do far more to protect Palestinian lives, dignity, and human rights,” the aide said.

After he listened to them, he proceeded to don his sunglasses and get behind the wheel of the monster truck. But not before a reporter tried to slip in a question. She asked if she could pose a question about Gaza. His response? “No, you can’t. Not unless you get in front as I step on it,” The barely concealed rage of his answer betrays how disgusting his approach has been.

Goldstein wasn’t a statesman, and your reference is dated, anyways. Try this guy:

    Breaking it down:

    https://original.antiwar.com/ramzy-baroud/2021/05/13/the-untold-story-of-sheikh-jarrah/

The video starts with MK Ben-Gvir yelling disparagingly at a Palestinian who was apparently wounded by Israeli police, yet returned to protest against the evictions planned for Sheikh Jarrah.

Ben-Gvir is heard shouting, “Abu Hummus, how is your ass?”

“The bullet is still there, that’s why he is limping,” responds Deputy Mayor King, who continues: “Did they take the bullet out of your ass? Did they take it out already? It is a pity it did not go in here.” He points to his head.

Delighted with what they perceive to be a whimsical commentary on the wounding of the Palestinian, the politicians’ entourage of Jewish extremists laugh.

How about Sabra and Chantila? All the various massacres you’ve committed since 1948? Deir Yassin, Kfar Kassem, 2006, 2008, 2014…

You burn infants alive, shoot down innocent women and children, incinerate whole families, conduct massacres with death tolls running into the hundreds, and have attacked literally every state you border and several more besides.

Surgeons have been wearing masks for almost a hundred years. All over Asia from Japan to Indochina most people routinely wear masks during flu season, especially on public transport and gatherings. It’s just basic hygiene like washing hands and covering one’s mouth when coughing.

According to the CDC, through this February its labs only received 1585 samples that tested positive for flu. That compares to 183,000 positive samples the previous year, which was not an exceptionally contagious flu season. There are several reasons being given for this anomaly, including the fact that people are avoiding large densely packed groups, bars, dances and mass transit. But, for the first time, Americans are doing what Asians have routinely done for decades, masking themselves in public settings and on transit during flu season.

So why on earth would the CDC suddenly do a 180-degree policy turn and say vaccinated persons no longer need to wear a mask outside or even indoors? Wearing a mask is no harder than wearing glasses. It’s know-nothings who say wearing a mask “takes away my freedom” who are objecting. These are the same people who don’t give a rat’s ass about other people.

People who haven’t gotten their shot(s) at this point aren’t going to get one. They’re anti-vaxxers. They either are anti-scientific, conspiracy-enamored whack-jobs, or they are anti-social jerks who figure “Let the rest of the people get vaccinated and then I won’t have to.” Either way, no incentive is going to get such people to go take the shot.

Florida’s Governor Ron (Who Needs Masks?) DeSantis’ new state order bans any kind of vaccine passports. DeSantis signed it to much fanfare in early May. According to the Miami Herald, DeSantis’ rule invalidates “all remaining local emergency COVID orders.” DeSantis signed a bill “that bars businesses, schools and government entities across Florida from asking anyone to provide proof of a Covid-19 vaccination.”

Are these the same people that support Trump, yet hate Trump’s “fast-tracked” vaccine? Are these same people against smallpox and polio vaccines? Are they reversing long established requirements for children beginning school? Why the government would be remotely interested in controlling what remains of the mind of an anti-vaxxer is never explained.

The CIA doesn’t care about you. It won’t be activating the chip it implanted in your teeth during your last dental visit, because it’s too busy arranging to hang onto its share of the world heroin market once the U.S. military leaves Afghanistan. Yes the CIA is up to its eyeballs in conspiracies, but they just involve money and power, not the dubious thought processes of dimwits.

In 2016 and 2020, Bernie Sanders, a self-described Democratic Socialist, was a viable candidate for the presidency of the United States. In a country where the left was systematically persecuted and whose intelligence services systematically persecute it abroad, such a development is significant and without precedent. Recent polls show half of millennials are well disposed toward socialism. Then, in 2020, a global pandemic took the lives of millions and wrought economic devastation in the United States with the unemployment rate reaching over 30% according to shadowstats.

Neoliberalism has never been more discredited, so it stands to reason that within this context a new crop of media opportunists would sprout up to tell people that socialism is dead.

Matt Taibbi, of all people, is suddenly concerned with the goings on at college campuses? Have you heard him vomit Rush Limbaugh-style talking points about pointy-headed, elitist academics in their ivory towers or compare “cancel culture” to One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich?

How about Glenn Greenwald? Have you noticed the Pulitzer Prize reporter and sworn enemy of the Brazilian right never misses an opportunity to defend Trump and the American right? Now he lies shamelessly, like by claiming Trump supporters did not invade the US Capitol, a lie easily proven false the moment it rolled off his tongue.

A coterie of opportunistic and malicious influencers are auditioning to be court jesters for National Conservatism. Why are so many others in the media employing the same knee-jerk contrarianism to attack the left and defend the right?

There has been a concerted effort among think tanks and their right-wing publications to make inroads in left media and gussy up tired Reaganite claptrap with phony Marxist jargon and edgy shit-posting to make “get off my lawn” conservatism seem counter cultural and hip. Capitalizing on the defeat of Sanders, these think tanks see an opportunity to exploit the ire and distrust of former Bernie supporters towards the Democratic Party and redirect this free-floating hostility to their ends.

Whenever a Democrat does something, it is bad and whenever a leftist does something it is also bad because they are a Democrat or secretly a Democrat or a crypto-Democrat or working on behalf of the Democrats. Rhetorically, their trick is to make use of American ignorance regarding political terminology, conflating the left with neo-liberals to discredit the former. They are reactionaries in the most literal sense of the term. They speak with one voice, carefully crafted by their wordsmith Frank Luntz.

They pretend an “uneducated underclass” living in low-density areas and a “metropolitan elite” of university-credentialed professionals are a “managerial ruling class”. They hate labor unions. This is a classic cynical divide and conquer strategy, meant to draw a wedge between college educated and non-college educated workers.

This BS is well funded on TV, radio and print. One pseudo-Marxist journal is The Bellows sponsored in part Jeff Vandrew Jr. as a contributing founder of Vandrew LLC, a New Jersey-based wealth management firm, just in case you doubted its left-wing credentials. Little Jeff is the son of Republican Jeff Vandrew Sr., who in 2020 supported Donald Trump’s efforts to overturn the election. It churns out endless pieces suggesting that the populist left and populist right share common goals.

They also argue that expansion of higher education created a new class of “would-be functionaries in numbers far in excess of what the labor market can or could absorb.” So, even unemployed college graduates are dastardly managers in waiting. This is a conflict between a growing cadre of imperial lords and the peasantry they hope to subjugate; between the managers and petty nobility of the much-prophesied “knowledge economy” and those they aim to manage.

The point of this well funded project is to lower taxes, cut Social Security and perpetuate endless wars. What motivates these deceptions? Money. Unlike liberals and socialists who mystify the exploitative nature of capital by working for reform, reactionaries are more revolutionary in seeking to abolish the existing order and return to an earlier one. So, the left are managers or managers-in-waiting while the Right are salt of the earth, scrappy peasants, which ignores the fact that high-income Americans voted for Trump in substantially higher numbers. This ruling class reaction poses universal contempt for the working class.

These organized pundits stand for anti-Black racism, anti-feminism, class collaboration and the aestheticization of politics. The pundits behind this effort are shady, opportunistic hucksters who are used, wittingly or unwittingly, by domestic or foreign intelligence agencies. Indeed, that’s why they are such perfectly useful idiots to their sponsors, whoever they might be.

    https://thegrayzone.com/2021/05/24/gaza-slaughter-israel-lobby-antisemitism/

With deceptively edited videos and dubious allegations, the Israel lobby has manufactured an antisemitism epidemic to turn the media’s gaze away from dead children in Gaza.

Following an 11-day assault on the Gaza Strip in which the Israeli army killed over 220 people, including more than 65 children, and days of videotaped rampages of Jewish extremist mobs against Palestinian people and property inside Israeli cities, Israel lobbyists in the US and Canada have launched a carefully coordinated public relations campaign to deflect outrage.

Having failed to successfully defend massacres of entire families in their homes and the deliberate demolition of civilian residential towers and media offices in Gaza City, the US Israel lobby and the Israeli government it advocates for have manufactured an epidemic of antisemitic violence with the goal of portraying American Jewry as the true victim of the crisis.

This is the only peg left on which to hang their hat.

  192. Israel-Gaza: Pilots bombed Palestinian buildings to ‘vent frustration’, says report

    https://www.middleeasteye.net/news/israel-gaza-attack-bombing-pilots-vent-frustration

Israeli air force pilots’ bombing and flattening of Palestinian residential towers in the besieged Gaza Strip in its military offensive earlier this month was a way to vent their frustration for failing to stop Palestinian armed factions from firing rockets into Israeli towns, according to an Israeli TV report.

A number of Israeli pilots spoke anonymously to Israel’s Channel 12 last week about their experience flying warplanes over the Palestinian enclave during an 11-day military campaign that ended with a ceasefire on Thursday evening. …

“I went on a mission to carry out air strikes with a feeling that destroying the towers is a way to vent frustration over what is happening to us and over the success of the groups in Gaza,” one Israeli pilot told Channel 12.

The pilot, identified as Major D in the report, added: “We failed to stop the rocket fire and to harm the leadership of these groups, so we destroyed the towers.”

No matter how many people push the myth about “unification behind Hamas”, to objects be facts show the discord. (1)

A physical confrontation broke out Sunday evening between Hamas supporters and their Fatah adversaries on the Temple Mount outside of the al-Aqsa mosque.

The incident was the latest in a series of clashes between supporters of the two political factions, as support for Hamas continues to grow in the traditionally Fatah dominant area of east Jerusalem.

Many believe that Hamas intentionally incited riots and violence at al-Aqsa mosque and across East Jerusalem over Ramadan, which eventually led to the 12-day IDF operation in the Gaza Strip, known as Operation Guardian of the Walls. Hamas’ operation, in which they and allied terror groups shot over 4,000 rockets from the Gaza Strip into Israeli territory, was known as the “The Sword of Jerusalem.”

The Hamas offensive of 2021 is a complete failure. And, everyone sees it.

All AS does is post on us.the commentators not on the specific information. He has no critical thinking skills. We Zionist are part of a cabal. It is a concerted and coordinated disinformation campaign. That is AS’s claim to fame. The conspiracy lives.

Matters not if you challenge specific facts, like Iris posting fake dead children with no fact checking or verification of the photos, date, who shot them etc. Pallywood. I have presented such good information about the Axis of Resistance, and the hatred that the majority of the Muslim world has towards them. The brutality of Hamas, Hezbollah etc. No mind it is all a disinformation campaign that he highlights. I presented Arabic articles warning of the dangers these Jihadist pose for the Muslims in the region. Death and destruction is all they are good for. Hamas has done nothing for Gazans. If Gaza ditched Hamas and recognized Israel as a sovereign Jewish state, the blockade would be lifted and Gaza would look like Singapore. Not recognizing Israel, calling for its dismantling. will bring more death and destruction. What is the point? I watched a video of Nassrallah calling for the dismantling of Israel, and for Jews to disperse. What do they think is going to happen? What a waste of time. Israel is not going to be dismantled. With or without US funding.

The information we present is rock solid. No matter. AS is sort of lost without his big bro Talha. He resorts to going from thread to thread telling the regulars to ignore me. I mean if that was all I had I would find something else to do. If you cannot discuss issues what is the point? If you answer is we are all part of a disinformation conspiracy, you have sort of land locked yourself into no mans land. Most of the world is in a completely different place, accepting Israel and working towards peace.

I will see you those videos with Iris’s hilarious fake dead children in Gaza. No date, no location, no photographer. Just gruesome dead babies a la Stephen King. And then I will raise you with Iris’s suburb 9/11 OFFICIAL videos of the no planes hitting the towers. No airplanes according to Iris hit the twin towers on 9/11 it was a nuclear explosion from the basement, nukes planted when the building was built. Any Jew with in 20 miles of the WTT had something to do with the conspiracy. All the live tri state area footage showing an airplane hitting the north tower and disappearing is doctored. There is one by fireman on the spot, but Iris says no. There were no airplanes. The planes (sit yourself down) were hologram images of airplanes with sound affects from above. Holograms hit the twin towers.

I think there is probably propaganda on both sides. But if I were a Palestinian demonstrator I would stay away from the Diamond District in New York. Those Hassids will make sure all the demonstrators are arrested. I saw a video tape of Palestinian demonstrators chanting “Palestine from the river to the sea. Palestine will be free” and all the shop owners came out and had those Palestinians back peddling on their heals, about to be run over to the west side highway. I included the video below.

Here is the 2014 video, and one of the current protestors in the diamond district. Don’t fuck with the Jews in the Diamond District. Odds are you will be going down. To bad Max doesn’t get it. All is fare in love and war.

The Golani Brigade is a perfectly ordinary infantry brigade, no different than any other Israeli infantry brigade. It has a reputation for attracting soldiers from the Mizrahi community, and has a reputation for being a bit “wilder” than some other infantry brigade.

Hamas Seeking a Way Out: Shortage in Rockets, Loss of Assets, Launching Capabilities Hindered

The Hamas terror organization is licking its wounds and is seeking a way to end the IDF’s Operation Guardian of the Walls against its infrastructure after incurring significant damage from the Israeli airstrikes.

A source from the Gaza Strip told TPS Wednesday night that Hamas is seeking a ceasefire with Israel as soon as possible, and this is the growing tendency in the ranks of the Hamas leadership in Gaza.

Hamas has been suffering for the past day from a shortage of long-range missiles and from significant damage to its ability to launch rockets at Israel, following the Israeli Air Force’s (IAF) damage to its launch pads and weapons warehouses.

Hamas is also aware of the serious damage to its senior ranks over the past 24 hours and is troubled by the loss of important infrastructure and key members of its organization.

The IDF carried several successful strikes and eliminated several senior Hamas commanders, significantly crippling Hamas’ so-called General Staff.

Hamas is surprised that Israel was not deterred by its threats to hit Ashkelon and continued to hit buildings [Hamas targets in Gaza], which in the eyes of Hamas, led to a snowball of damage,” the source said.

Hamas gambled on the current round of violence being intense but short and was surprised by the IDF’s decision to expand the scope of its attacks.

It should be noted that this report corresponds with the IDF Spokesman’s briefings and even with reports in the Arab media about Hamas’ desire for an immediate ceasefire.

The source added that Hamas is in contact with the Qatari leadership so that it can act on its behalf to achieve a ceasefire.

“Hamas now understands that Israel may paralyze its governmental capabilities and elements in its leadership are already expressing the shock that is expected of the residents of the Gaza Strip who will soon discover the extent of the destruction,” he said.

Hamas understands that in the coming years there is no one who will agree to finance the reconstruction of Gaza and there are even statements about the need to form a unity government with Mahmoud Abbas in order to enjoy foreign funding for the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip.

    Did Hamas achieve the impossible?

It does appear that Hamas made Mahmoud Abbas relevant and powerful again. Someone has to step in after Hamas leadership credibility dropped to 0%.

Yet more good news from Florida and Governor Ron DeSantis: (1)

Gov. DeSantis Signs Foreign Influence Bills

“There is no single entity that exercises a more pervasive, nefarious influence across a wide range of American industries and institution than the Communist Party of China,” DeSantis said.

Sponsored by Republican Rep. Mike Beltran, one measure (HB 1523) creates the crime of “trafficking in trade secrets” and enhances criminal penalties if the secrets are stolen and provided to a foreign government.

The other (HB 7017), sponsored by Republican Rep. Erin Grall, aims to curb foreign influence in the state’s academic research institutions.

Among other provisions, the legislation prohibits agreements between a handful of mostly communist countries and requires “thorough screening” of foreign applicants for research positions.

It would also force state agencies, local governments and colleges and universities to disclose donations and grants from those countries worth $50,000 or more.

In February, for example, federal authorities indicted a University of Florida researcher who created a company in China that would profit from his taxpayer-funded UF research.

The researcher and Chinese resident, Lin Yang, reportedly concealed support from the Chinese government.

Things are looking bad for the CCP Elites and their State Owned Enterprises. Theft of Intellectual Property was the ‘core revenue source’ keeping a number them afloat.

First they came for the criminals, but I was not a criminal, so…

I’m uncomfortably reminded of the FBI’s post-9/11 paid provocateur program. First they were going after purported ‘Islamic Terrorists.’ The last case I heard about were ‘White Supremacists.’

So now it would be best to be wary of ‘secure networks.’ This does have a nicely prophylactic effect, doesn’t it?

In fact, I wonder if all the publicity has more than one motive? After all, if they really wanted to keep hoovering up crime king pins, wouldn’t they have tried to discourage the BBC et al from publicizing it?

Actually, the Guardian’s (and AnonStarter’s) contention is a part of truth. The foot-soldiers are often petty criminals, and they probably would have remained vanilla criminals if they had not adopted the religious narrative for their own hunger for blood.

But there is the other part of the truth, that they swim in the currents generated by an extremist strain in Islam, which has always been present. This extremist strain is nurtured by many scholars (respected by the masses) too. In the ‘golden ages’ of Islam, this strain is not the orthodoxy (far from it), but in most of the other times, it _is_ the orthodoxy or very near to it.

It is these currents which allows these “extremist interpretations” to become a major problem for the non-extremists (and a fortiori, the non-Muslims). As I had said earlier, thanks to the vast body of scholarly work supporting the extremist interpretations, the extremists don’t find it very hard to convince the masses to accede to their version of the religious interpretation.

@AnonStarter, “You talk out of both sides of your mouth”:
I am doing you a favor by present things as they are. You’d no doubt like to hide your head in sand about it.

“Innuendo” doesn’t even begin to describe this.

    1. foot-soldiers: as if to imply that the extremists are taking orders from institutions such as al-Azhar, which hasn’t been established at all. The findings of Drs. Cook and Roy show the exact opposite.

    Now argue this fact:

Where is the hard data telling us how many students or graduates of al-Azhar have become members of ISIS?

This information should not be too difficult to obtain. Surely, if al-Azhar is incubating da’eshis by the dozen, we’ve had heard about it by now. Anything to share about that?

    2. extremist strain: a vague, amorphous term used to characterize a “vast body of scholarly work” that has made it easy to “convince the masses” in “most of the … times” throughout Islamic history.

First, since “extreme” means “exceeding the ordinary, usual, or expected,” it confounds the imagination to think that most of Islamic history can be characterized as “extremist.” Unless, of course, you’re using secular western liberalism as your yardstick, in which case, you’re no longer evaluating Islam by its own criterion.

Second, you haven’t defined what you mean by “extremist.” Usually what this boils down to is something that offends your own personal tastes, which do not constitute an objective criterion of evaluating Islam.

Earlier, I mentioned the Abbasid tyranny foretold by the Prophet himself, so I don’t shy away from truth. I’ve acknowledged, for example, that apostasy and adultery jurisprudence have been corrupted. I would also say the same for so-called “blasphemy law.” The so-called “Pact of ‘Umar” has been proven to be pseudepigrapha.

Yet many with modern secular liberal inclinations would say that Islam’s imperatives for such things as modest attire, gender segregation, and capital punishment for armed robbery are similarly “extremist.” As such, the terms you use bear the potential to sweep away a good amount of orthodox Islam along with the Abbasid corruptions.

And, of course, Muslims will perceive this as an attack on Islam per se, particularly when you’re keen on citing renowned anti-Islam polemicists funded by David Horowitz and other assorted Zionists. As such, when you express admiration for Islam, it doesn’t look sincere in the least.

Even if we were to limit our view of extremism to that of renowned groups such as ISIS, al Qaeda, and their analogues, the vast majority of “the (Muslim) masses” stand firmly opposed.

In short, your analysis is — no irony intended — a non-starter. You don’t present “things as they are” because you peddle in innuendo and your terminology hasn’t even begun to make sense.

Incidentally, while al-Azhar does enjoy international renown, it’s not the equivalent of the Vatican to Catholicism. There is no such understanding in Islam. That said, here’s a link to a brief description of a 512-page fatwa against terrorism and suicide bombings explicitly validated by al-Azhar:

    https://www.minhajpublications.com/product/fatwa-on-terrorism-suicide-bombings/

What strikes me here is Mouse’s almost absurd degree of hypocrisy.

‘Extremist strain’ — as if Judaism and Christianity are devoid of this tendency! Honestly — take a walk through the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn. Read the Wikipedia entry on ‘Flagellant.’ Read about the Kitos War. Look up the history of the Anabaptists. Shit. And it’s Muslims that tend towards extremism? If they do, Christians and Jews would be the last ones to be in a position to criticize.

By “foot-soldiers”, I meant the “small-fry”. These are generally “losers” who have adopted a cause.

But ask yourself why Christian petty-criminals don’t use quotes from their religion to commit crimes. Obviously, they won’t stick. At best, one can say that Islam has to travel the same path Christianity has traveled. Until then, forgive others if they remain apprehensive of Islam!

Also, the top leaders of these organizations are often highly-educated people, and quite often religious scholars.

“Surely, if al-Azhar is incubating da’eshis by the dozen, we’ve had heard about it by now. Anything to share about that?”
I am no expert on this issue, but you can check others’ comments online. E.g.,
    https://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2017/08/is_alazhar_university_a_global_security_threat.html

    A choice quote:

According to the report, one of the books called, _al-Iqn’a fi Hal Alfaz ibn Abi Shoga’a_, taught to al-Azhar’s high school students states, “Any Muslim, can kill an apostate and eat him, as well kill infidel warriors even if they are young or female and they can also be eaten, because they are not granted any protection.” On the treatment of non-Muslims, the report quotes the same book as saying, “to preserve one’s self from the evil of an infidel, any Muslim can gouge their eyes out, or mutilate their hands and legs, or sever one arm and one leg.”

Even Muslims aren’t safe from al-Azhar’s teachings. According to the same the report, another book states, “Any Muslim is allowed to kill a fornicator, a warrior, or a [Muslim] who misses prayer, even without permission of the [ruling] Imam.”

“Where is the hard data telling us how many students or graduates of al-Azhar have become members of ISIS? ”
I haven’t checked, but the relation is not that simple. As I said, when the small-fry look at prestigious bodies encouraging or allowing violence in the name of a higher-cause (religion), it must increase their courage considerably!

“the vast majority of “the (Muslim) masses” stand firmly opposed.”
My point wasn’t that the Muslim masses support them, but that, _when necessary_, given the solid body of arguments these extremists sprout, it is not difficult to _accede_ to them. (ISIS overran parts of Iraq almost overnight, and could easily rule it.)

“As such, when you express admiration for Islam, it doesn’t look sincere in the least.”
I don’t admire Islam as a whole, but only parts of it.

“You don’t present “things as they are” because you peddle in innuendo and your terminology hasn’t even begun to make sense.”
Intolerance, due to whatever cause, is a problem in Islam. Check out Pakistan, where they have by now cut away all old “Hindu trees” (trees respected in Hinduism). Or the reaction of Islamic countries to the blowing of the Bamiyan Buddha. (Did you feel happy about it too?)

You are welcome to believe whatever you wish to believe in.

A bigot hates a biological group. It is a taboo to hate biological groups of people. But it is rational to hate an idea or a mindset.

Can we be bigoted against an “ism?” An “ism” is a system of thought. If an “ism” is attacking you and declares a hatred for you – is it not rational and judicious, to react back?

Zionism is a mindset that advocates for a geographical empire. Not all Jews are Zionists – not all Zionists are Jews – but all Zionists want empire. Without question, a Zionist empire is an affront to the world – it causes the planet much trouble.

Some of the most eminent and respected rabbis were converts to Judaism. Jewish parents throughout the world bless their children every Sabbath and holiday eve, and they have done it in the same way for millennia. If the children are girls, the blessing is, “May G-d let you be like Sarah, Rebecca, Rachel and Leah.” Not one of these matriarchs was born a Jewess; they were all converts to Judaism. If the children are boys, the blessing is, “May G-d let you be like Ephraim and Manasseh.” The mother of these two was an Egyptian woman who became Jewish and had married Joseph.
